    The Lamb Of God

The Bible is filled with promises of God's protection, deliverance and salvation. But have you ever wondered how a promise made thousands of years ago still applies to our lives today? What does the Passover in the Old Testament have to do with Jesus? Why was the blood of a lamb so significant? And what does it mean for us to be covered by the blood of Jesus today? In Exodus 12, we read about the Israelites living in slavery in Egypt and God's plan to deliver them. Before the final plague, God instructed His people to sacrifice a lamb without blemish and mark their doorposts with its blood. And with that came a remarkable promise: "When I see the blood, I will pass over you." (Exodus 12:13) But this was more than an instruction for the Israelites. It was also pointing towards a far greater promise that would be fulfilled through Jesus Christ. In John 1:29, Jesus is introduced as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. So why is Jesus called the Lamb of God? What is the significance of His sacrifice on the cross? And how does the New Covenant change our relationship with God? In this week's episode, we connect the first Passover to the sacrifice of Jesus, exploring God's promise of redemption, the power of His blood, and the abundant life He offers us through faith in Him. As Jesus reminds us in John 10:10, He came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly. If you've ever wondered about the significance of the blood of Jesus, or what His sacrifice truly means for your life, this episode is for you. Living Waters

We spend so much of our lives searching for something that will truly satisfy us. Success, relationships, knowledge, entertainment, or the next big solution. Yet, somehow, we still find ourselves wanting more. When Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well, He offers her something she never knew she needed — living water. Water that would satisfy a thirst far deeper than the physical, and become a spring leading to eternal life. But what is this living water? Why do we continue searching for fulfilment in the world around us? And how can we receive what Jesus promises? Through this remarkable encounter, Jesus also reveals what it means to truly worship God — in spirit and in truth. Not merely through rituals, but through a personal relationship with Him, grounded in His Word and prayer. And this promise of living water doesn't end at the well.  “Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. ” - Revelation 22:1-2 NASB1995 If you've been feeling spiritually empty, weary, or searching for something more, this episode is a reminder that Jesus offers what the world cannot. He Will Never Leave You

Take a moment and think about some of the hardest emotions you've carried through your life. Grief. Sadness. Stress. Rejection. Humiliation. Loneliness. The moments when you felt misunderstood, abandoned, or simply exhausted from carrying something that no one else seemed to understand. And perhaps there have been moments when you've wondered, “Does anyone really understand what I'm going through?” The answer is closer than you may realise. Jesus does. When He walked this earth, Jesus was not a stranger to pain. He experienced rejection, betrayal, loneliness, grief, humiliation and suffering. He knows what it feels like to be misunderstood. He knows what it feels like to be abandoned by people you trusted. So what happens when you realise that the God you pray to isn't distant from your pain, but understands it? • Does Jesus really understand what we experience? • What does Scripture tell us about Jesus' own suffering and emotions? • What do we hold onto when we feel completely alone? • And how do we keep going when the people around us don't understand what we're carrying? This episode is a reminder that your pain is not invisible to God. You may feel like no one understands, but Jesus knows. You may feel like you're walking through something alone, but He is with you. And His promise is not dependent on how strong you feel today. Hebrews 13:5-6  “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” What if the peace you need today begins with simply believing that you are not alone? Jesus understands the pain you cannot put into words. He understands the tears you don't explain, the rejection you still carry, and the seasons where simply getting through the day feels like enough. You don't have to pretend you're okay before you come to Him. He already knows. And He is still there. Love Never Fails

Sometimes people remember the worst thing you have done, the mistake you made, or the label someone else gave you — and forget the person underneath it. Zacchaeus knew what it was like to be written off. A tax collector, disliked by the people around him, he was desperate just to catch a glimpse of Jesus. So he climbed a sycamore tree. But Jesus did something Zacchaeus probably never expected. He stopped, called him by name, and chose to go to his house — despite the crowd grumbling that Jesus was going to the home of a sinner. What makes this story in Luke 19 so powerful for our lives today? Jesus did not allow public opinion to determine how He saw Zacchaeus. He did not ask Zacchaeus to fix his reputation before He came near him. Instead, love came first. And that love produced a response — Zacchaeus repented, gave generously to the poor, and made restitution to those he had wronged. Jesus Himself said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.” (Matthew 9:12) Grace moves toward the people everyone else writes off. And underneath all of this is one foundation: love. Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and the second is to love our neighbour as ourselves. On these two commandments, He said, depend the whole Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 22:37–40) The Bible tells us that faith, hope, and love remain — but the greatest of these is love. We spoke about faith when David stood before Goliath. We spoke about hope when a man suffering from leprosy believed Jesus could change his situation. And today, we come to love. But why is love the greatest? Because, as 1 Corinthians 13:8 tells us, love never fails. And what does love actually look like? The Bible does not leave us guessing. 1 Corinthians 13 describes love through patience, kindness, humility, forgiveness, perseverance, and putting others before ourselves. So what does it look like to choose love when someone has judged you? When a relationship is difficult? When someone has disappointed you? And what happens when we allow God's definition of love — rather than the world's — to shape the way we live? Perhaps love really is the one thing that holds everything together. He Is Willing

Sometimes you can reach a point where you've tried everything, prayed every prayer, and don't know where else to turn. You feel overlooked. Pushed aside. Alone. Exhausted from carrying something that doesn't seem to change. The Bible talks about a man who is covered with leprosy, with no way left to lead a normal life. Rejected from everywhere, he went to Jesus only to ask  -  “Lord, if You are willing, make me clean.” He asks a question that sounds remarkably like so many prayers we carry silently. What happens when you come to Jesus with nothing left but hope? In this episode, we slow down and look closely at this powerful encounter between Jesus and the leper. Jesus doesn't keep His distance from the person everyone else avoids. He reaches out and touches him. Why does that touch matter? Because Jesus didn't simply restore his skin. He restored his sense of worth, dignity, and belonging. And then Jesus says the words that change everything: “I am willing. Be cleansed.” So what does this story mean for us today? • What do you do when you feel rejected, overlooked, or not good enough? • Where do you turn when you've tried everything and nothing seems to be working? • What happens when loneliness, spiritual dryness, addiction, or a health battle leaves you feeling stuck? • And can we really approach Jesus exactly as we are? If you're looking for encouragement, a faith-filled reminder of God's willingness, or simply need to place your hope at Jesus' feet again, this episode is for you. Press play, stay with us until the end, and allow this story to remind you that you are not forgotten, unseen, or beyond His reach. Face Your Goliath

Fear rarely arrives all at once. It creeps in quietly when we are at our lowest. It repeats the same threat, magnifies the problem in front of us, and waits for us to believe that the outcome is already decided. That is perhaps why the story of David and Goliath still speaks so powerfully to us today. Because Goliath wasn't just a giant standing in front of an army. He was a voice that created fear. A voice that tried to define the future before the battle had even begun. And we all have our own Goliaths. A health crisis. Financial pressure. Conflict at work. A relationship falling apart. A personal struggle that has been following you for months—or even years. So what happens when the giant in front of you seems bigger than your ability to overcome it? In this episode, we revisit one of the most famous stories in the Bible and look more closely at the journey of David—from the young shepherd who was anointed for a purpose, to the moment he heard Goliath's challenge and refused to accept the narrative of fear. What is particularly powerful is the way David spoke. Before anything changed in his circumstances, David remembered what God had already done. “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me…” Faith is often revealed in what we believe—and in what we speak—before we see the outcome. So how do we build that kind of faith? • What has God already brought you through? • What past victory can remind you of His faithfulness today? • And what happens when you stop allowing fear to define your future? David gives us a practical pattern: remember God's track record, and then apply that faithfulness to the battle you are facing right now. But trusting God doesn't mean becoming passive. Proverbs 21:31 NASB1995 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But victory belongs to the Lord. There is a part for us to play. Prepare. Show up. Take the step. Do what is within your hands. And then trust God with what is beyond your control. The Bible reminds us that no wisdom, understanding, or counsel can stand against the Lord. The battle may be real, but your situation is never greater than God. If fear has been speaking louder than faith lately, this episode is a reminder to stop listening to the voice of the giant and start remembering the voice of God. Do your part. Leave the rest to Him. And watch for His deliverance. If this episode encourages you, subscribe for more Bible-based teaching, share it with someone who is facing a giant today, and leave a review so more people can discover the hope found in God's Word. Faith That Refuses To Quit

Some battles are not won because the road becomes easier. They are won because you refuse to give up. Because you keep going when the situation tells you to stop. You keep believing when you haven't yet seen the promise. You give your all, stand your ground, and continue trusting God even when the outcome is still uncertain. In this episode, we explore two powerful truths from Hebrews that challenge the way we think about faith. Hebrews 6:12 warns us not to become sluggish, reminding us that through faith and patience, we inherit the promises of God. And Hebrews 11:6 tells us something even more profound: Without faith, it is impossible to please God. So what happens when faith meets perseverance? What does it look like to keep trusting when the answer seems delayed? • How do we stand firm when a situation feels bigger than us? • What does patience look like when we are waiting for God's promises? • Can faith remain strong through disappointment, struggle, and delay? • And what happens when we simply refuse to let our circumstances defeat us? Throughout the Bible, we see men and women whose unwavering faith carried them through extraordinary circumstances. In this episode, we look closely at the life of Jacob—a man who faced struggle, uncertainty, conflict, and loss, yet persevered through it all. Jacob's journey was far from easy. But his persistence and determination became part of a transformation that would change his identity forever. Jacob became Israel. His story is a reminder that sometimes the struggle is not the end of the story. Sometimes, what you are fighting through is part of what is preparing you for what comes next. And Jacob lived before Jesus came. Today, we have something even greater: Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Jesus Himself reminds us in John 16:33: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” We are not asked to face our battles alone. The One we place our faith in has already overcome the world. If you are facing a situation that feels bigger than you, if your faith has been tested, or if you are tempted to give up on something you have been praying and believing for, this episode is your reminder: Keep seeking God. Keep believing. Keep standing. His Promise, Our Purpose

We’ve all read the Beatitudes. “Blessed are the poor in spirit…” “Blessed are those who mourn…” “Blessed are the meek…” “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness…” They are some of the most familiar words Jesus spoke during His time on earth. But familiarity can sometimes make us read Scripture without truly stopping to understand what Jesus was saying. What if we looked at the Beatitudes differently? Not simply as beautiful verses to read, but as a blueprint for how Jesus calls us to live. In this episode, we slow down and look beneath the words of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount to understand what each Beatitude really means — the promise within it, the heart behind it, and the instruction it leaves for us. So what does Jesus actually mean when He calls someone “blessed”? • Is being blessed really about having an easy, successful, or comfortable life? • Why does Jesus describe the poor in spirit, the meek, those who mourn, and those who are persecuted as blessed? • What promises are hidden within these seemingly simple statements? • And what do the Beatitudes reveal about the kind of person Jesus is calling us to become? The Beatitudes are not simply a list of blessings. They are an invitation to live differently. A way of living that points us towards the very purpose for which we are here. This episode is an invitation to go deeper into the Beatitudes — to understand the promises Jesus made, the life He calls us to, and the purpose behind His words. Because the Beatitudes are more than a message about being blessed. They are a reminder of who we are called to be.
