    LEMBA: The Africana Authors Space with Makheni Zonneveld

    Makheni Zonneveld is the Coolest Granny in Town. Originally from South Africa, she is an energetic 70-year-young granny. Makheni is the founder of Real Solutions Training (1999) and the Free Health Club (2021) and the authour of Healthier and Slimmer. She was is more known for being a speaker, trainer, coach and storyteller in the corporate sector. She became a wellness speaker and coach since proper health information saved her from an operation in 2008. She is a mother of two adult daughters and has one grandson.     Introducing Linda Ndungane, a creative strategist, employer brand specialist by day and a children's book author, podcaster and radio host by passion.     Introducing Mwangala Lethbridge, an Entrepreneur, Architect, Family Woman, Politician in the making and Trauma Survivor. A Christian by faith and raised Catholic, her belief system rests on four pillars as the cornerstones that guide her purpose in life: taking ownership, reliability, commitment and resilience. She hopes to inspire change in the lives of those she is blessed to encounter. Mwangala resides both in the United Kingdom with her husband Adam and their three children and in Zambia with her son and lovely grandchildren. Still Standing is her first book. Still Standing: The Flip Side of Denial, Depression and Forgiveness, is a story that starts with tragedy and ends with acceptance and realisation of the importance to highlight mental health.     LEMBA: The Africana Authors Space - Linda Kasonde

    Introducing Linda Kasonde, a legal practitioner and civil rights activist based in Lusaka, Zambia. Ms. Kasonde was admitted to the Zambian Bar in 2001. Linda is the current Vice-President for Africa of the Commonwealth Lawyers' Association. In April 2016 she was elected the first ever female President of the Law Association of Zambia, a position that she held until April 2018. Linda obtained an LLB Law Degree from the University of Leicester in England in 2000 and an LLM Law Degree from the University of Cape Town. Ms. Kasonde is a 2017 recipient of the IE University's Extraordinary People Inspiring the IE Community (EPIC) Award in the 'Women Inspiring Women' category. In December 2016, the prestigious The Africa Report named her as one of the people to watch out for in 2017 in Southern Africa. Also, in December 2016, she was awarded the Zambia Society for Public Administration's Justice Irene Chirwa Mambilima Distinguished Award in recognition of her contribution to the advancement of public service excellence in Zambia.
