    Attitude of Gratitude

    What would change if gratitude became your first response instead of your last? As we begin our study through the book of Colossians, we discover Paul's remarkable habit of leading with thanksgiving. Writing from prison to a young church facing cultural pressure and spiritual challenges, Paul begins not with complaints or concerns, but with gratitude for what God is already doing. In this message, we're challenged to develop the same practice in our own lives. What if we started our prayers with thanksgiving before presenting our requests? What if we began each day by intentionally thanking God for both the extraordinary and the ordinary blessings we often overlook? What if gratitude became the foundation of our conversations with others? When we approach God with thankful hearts, our perspective begins to change. We become more aware of His faithfulness, more content with His provision, and more confident in His promises. Gratitude is more than an emotion. It is a posture of the heart that shapes the direction of our lives.     Wandering comes naturally, to cattle, sheep, and people. In this message from James 5:19-20, we're reminded that spiritual drifting is a reality for all of us. Sometimes we get distracted by good things instead of the best things. Sometimes we wander because of fear, pride, shame, or simply losing sight of the path God has set before us. Like livestock grazing toward whatever catches their attention, we can find ourselves far from where we intended to be. But God doesn't give up on wandering people. He doesn't settle for 99 out of 100. He pursues every person who has drifted, and He calls His people to do the same. This message challenges us to see the church as more than a place for fellowship and community. We are called to be part of God's search-and-rescue mission. We help those who have wandered return to the truth, the hope, and the life found in Christ. When someone is lovingly restored, the impact reaches far beyond a single moment.     Overcoming Spiritual Procrastination

    What are the “frogs” you’ve learned to live with? In this message from Exodus 8, we look at one of the strangest responses in Scripture. When Pharaoh is given the chance to be free from the plague of frogs covering Egypt, he tells Moses, “Tomorrow.” Why wait one more day? That question reveals something deep about the human heart. Like Pharaoh, we often delay the very changes God is calling us to make. We postpone forgiveness, obedience, healing, discipline, repentance, and joy, convincing ourselves there will always be a better time later. But delayed obedience slowly hardens the heart. The longer we tolerate the “frogs” in our lives, the more normal they become. This message is a challenge to stop putting off what God is calling you to do today. Identify the areas you’ve been avoiding, take the first faithful step, and remember: this is the day the Lord has made.
