    Take Up Your Space

Episode Summary: “Take Up Your Space” (S3, E53) I went to see the campers from the Energizers Creative Arts Summer Camp perform in their show, and I walked away feeling lighter, brighter, and inspired. Watching these kids dance, drum, have fun, and confidently express themselves reminded me how powerful the childlike spirit truly is—and how alive it still is within me. One young performer especially stood out because of the way she confidently took up space, reminding me of my own journey of moving beyond the conditioning to shrink myself, play small, or feel like I’m somehow a bother. In this episode, I reflect on what this experience brought up for me around self-expression, the inner child, and allowing myself to take up space. There were some simple yet powerful reminders that came through that night, and I invite you to tune in and see what resonates with you along the way.   Key Highlight: The confidence and exuberance of the campers became a powerful reminder of what it looks like to express myself freely and take up my space.   Notable quote: “Take up your space. Don’t be sorry for where you are and where you stand, the space that you occupy. That’s yours.”   Wayshowers College Re-discover what life’s all about: https://zurl.to/Eafg Build your inner foundation: https://zurl.to/kyo1 Additional tools & resources: https://wayshowerscollege.com **I only share resources I personally trust. Asking is Tiny but Mighty

Episode Summary: “Asking Is Tiny but Mighty” (S3, E52) In this episode, I reflect on how one simple conversation at work reminded me of the power of asking for clarity instead of operating from assumptions. I’m realizing how easily old patterns, fear, and the stories in my head can create unnecessary pressure when the information I need may already be available to me. Asking questions, getting the facts, and staying open to my inner guidance are ways I can practice greater loyalty and sincerity with myself. Sometimes transformation begins with something tiny: one question, one breath, one intentional shift in direction. Tiny can truly be mighty. Key Highlights Asking creates clarity. A simple question at work showed me how assumptions had limited my awareness of the support and resources already available to me. Awareness creates freedom. Knowing the facts of my situation (materially and spiritually) helps me move beyond rumination and make choices that support my peace, fulfillment, and well-being. Tiny shifts can change my direction. Transformation can begin with a small, intentional adjustment practiced consistently over time. Quote Spotlight  “Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is bondage.”   Wayshowers College Re-discover what life’s all about: https://zurl.to/Eafg Build your inner foundation: https://zurl.to/kyo1 Additional tools & resources: https://wayshowerscollege.com **I only share resources I personally trust. Childlike is the Way

Episode Summary: “Childlike is the Way” (S3, E51) Spending time with my best friends and their kids reminded me of something I once knew naturally: there was a time when I was wild, free, present, and simply enjoying the moment before all the conditioning and programming started piling on. In this episode, I explore why staying childlike is part of staying loyal to myself especially when the noise of the world, my own overthinking, or old concepts pull me away from my center. I share why coming back home to myself has to come first when I feel off my pivot, and how my challenges can become opportunities to regroup, learn, and keep moving instead of becoming something I drag forward with me. For me, being childlike is a form of resilience: keeping my heart light through the storms, following my inner guidance, enjoying the life that is here now, and remembering that heaven is a state of being I carry within me. Key Highlights The childlike part of me is my feeling nature: Before conditioning taught me how I was “supposed” to behave, there was a freer part of me that simply felt, expressed, played, and lived in the moment. Reconnecting with that part is part of my healing and spiritual unfoldment. When I’m off my pivot, I come home first: Whatever energy I’m operating from carries into my actions and presence. Being childlike is resilience: Life will have its storms, falls, and opportunities. Decision Cuts Pressure

Episode Summary: "Decision Cuts Pressure" (S3, EP50) In this episode, I reflect on an in-service day kayaking on the Anacostia River and how a simple experience became a reminder about the power of decision. I share how assumptions, fear, and the energy of others created pressure before the trip even began, and how choosing to trust myself shifted everything. Along the way, I explore spiritual sensitivity, discernment, and the importance of returning to my center instead of getting carried away by projections. My biggest takeaway is that every decision I make strengthens my inner leadership, allowing me to move through uncertainty with greater peace, confidence, and joy. Key Highlights How assumptions and projected fears create unnecessary pressure before an experience even begins. Why discernment and spiritual sensitivity help me recognize what energy belongs to me and what I can let go. The simple decision to enjoy an uncertain experience became a lesson in trust, self-leadership, and inner freedom. Notable Quotes "The moment I decide for myself, I become the leader of my own energy." Agreements

Episode Summary: “Agreements” (S3, EP48) In this episode, I reflect on my experience reading The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and why this book arrived at exactly the right time in my own spiritual journey. I explore how our beliefs, conditioning, and unconscious agreements shape the way we experience life, and how creating new agreements can lead to greater personal freedom, peace, and self-respect. I also share practical ways I'm integrating these teachings into my daily life, reminding myself that real growth comes through practice, patience, and experience—not just knowledge. My hope is that this conversation inspires you to examine the agreements you're living by and consciously choose the ones that truly serve you. Key Highlights How unconscious beliefs and generational conditioning influence the way we experience life—and why awareness is the first step toward freedom. Why spiritual growth happens through consistent practice, experience, and simple daily habits rather than collecting more knowledge. A reflection on releasing old agreements like perfectionism while consciously building new agreements that cultivate peace, personal freedom, and trust. Now or Mental

Episode Summary: "Now or Mental" (S3-EP47) In this episode, I reflect on how a simple ice plunge at camp became a powerful lesson about presence, courage, and the relationship between my intellectual mind and my intuitive nature. I share how fear often grows in anticipation, while the actual experience becomes much lighter once I fully commit and stay present. Through both my own experience and watching others move through the challenge, I explore how involvement, trust, and choosing joy—even during discomfort—create opportunities for genuine spiritual growth. Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't the challenge itself—it's the stories my mind creates before I even begin.   Key Highlights The mind often creates more suffering through anticipation than the experience itself. Spiritual growth happens through full involvement & presence. Choosing to enjoy in the uncomfortable moments transforms challenges into opportunities for growth. Coming Home: The Art of Integration

Episode Summary: "Coming Home: The Art of Integration" (S3, EP46) After spending two weeks at summer camp in Iowa, I reflect on what it means to integrate the insights, healing, and growth from a spiritual retreat into everyday life. I share how returning home brings its own challenges as old patterns resurface, inviting me to slow down, trust myself, and remember that everything is going to be alright. This episode is a personal check-in on navigating change, staying grounded in inner peace, and learning that true transformation comes through consistent, practical choices. My hope is to remind you that your greatest strength comes from coming home to yourself, one conscious breath at a time.   Key Highlights Why integration is one of the most important parts of any healing or spiritual growth journey. How slowing down, connecting with nature, and returning to the basics helps maintain inner peace during times of change.
