    Why I'm Doing This Podcast In The First Place...

    In this episode, I want to take a step back and remind us why we are doing this podcast in the first place. What is the purpose behind Learning Christ Ministries? What are we actually after? Drawing from Ephesians 4:20–21, I share how “learning Christ” is not about gathering more information about Him, but experiencing Him firsthand. There is a big difference between knowing about God and actually knowing Him, and that difference changes everything about how we live. My heart is not that you walk away with more information, but that you would go directly to the Father, hear from Him personally, and begin to live out of that relationship every day.

    God Didn’t Fix You… He Replaced You

    In this episode, I want to continue unpacking the reality of grace by focusing on what it truly means to be a new creation in Christ. Not an improved version of who we were, but a completely new person. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Romans 6, I share how the old self wasn’t repaired or restored, but crucified, buried, and replaced with an entirely new nature born of God. I also challenge a common mindset many of us carry—that we’re still the same person just trying to do better. I talk through how we often hold onto old identities like fear, anxiety, and insecurity, and try to attach them to the new life God has already given us. My heart in this episode is to invite you to stop striving for change and start living from it. As we begin to see ourselves the way God does, as fully new, transformation becomes the natural result of walking in the life and identity already placed within us.

    Practical Grace: How God’s Grace Works in Everyday Life

    In this episode, I continue talking about the reality of God’s grace and what it truly means for our daily lives. Many of us understand grace as receiving what we don’t deserve—but we rarely ask what we actually received. Grace is not just forgiveness or a theological idea. It is the life and power of Christ given to us. When Paul asked God to remove the thorn in his flesh, the Lord answered, “My grace is sufficient for you.” That same grace—the riches of Christ within us—has been given so we can express His life in every circumstance and relationship. Instead of striving to fix our weaknesses, grace invites us to rely on what God has already deposited in us through Christ. My prayer is that the Lord opens the eyes of your heart to see the abundance of grace He has already provided.

    Can God's Work Be Undone?

    In this episode, I share what the Father has been revealing to me about grace and the powerful work God does when someone becomes a child of God. Salvation is not simply learning new information or trying harder to live a better life. Scripture shows that God Himself pursues us, draws us, gives us faith, makes us alive, and seals us with His Spirit. So if God has done all of this, what happens if someone stops believing? Can the work of God really be undone? My prayer is that this teaching helps bring clarity, assurance, and confidence in your relationship with the Father as we look at the difference between a man-centered gospel and the good news of grace.     Good Grief… the part no one talks about

    In this episode of the Micah Young Podcast, I want to talk with you about grief, comfort, and something we don’t often talk about—relief. I begin in 2 Corinthians 1:2–4, where Paul describes God as the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. For a long time, I thought Paul’s words were just a familiar greeting. But as I’ve reflected on grace, I’ve come to see that they carry much deeper meaning. God doesn’t just offer comfort in theory—He meets us personally in our affliction. Over the years, I’ve walked through grief myself, losing both of my parents after prolonged illness. I know the ups and downs, the emotional tension, the hope that rises and falls, and the unexpected moments when emotions resurface. I’ve also experienced something that often brings confusion or even guilt—a sense of relief. In this episode, I share why relief is not a sign of hardheartedness or selfishness. It may actually be the comfort of a loving Father. God comforts us so we can endure affliction, so it doesn’t destroy us—and so that the comfort we receive can one day be shared with others.

    Living From Abundance, Not Spiritual Poverty

    In this powerful teaching, Micah continues unpacking the richness of God’s grace—moving beyond theological agreement into practical experience. Drawing from passages in Ephesians 1, 2 Corinthians 9, and 2 Peter 1, he clarifies that grace is not merely God’s kindness toward us but the fullness of Christ’s life extended to us: His patience, peace, forgiveness, love, kindness, self-control, and every spiritual blessing. Micah contrasts two ways believers try to grow: 1. Trying to imitate Jesus through self-effort, lists, religious performance, and behavior modification. 2. Partaking of the divine nature already present within them, relying on the Spirit rather than striving in the flesh. This episode exposes why many Christians feel perpetually inadequate and trapped in cycles of trying harder, failing, and experiencing shame. Micah shows that transformation doesn’t come through effort, law-keeping, or working on ourselves—it comes through believing what God has already done, agreeing with Him, and drawing from the riches placed inside us in Christ.
