Mackinnon, author of The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crow—the wonderfully entertaining story of his remarkable journey in a tiny Mirror dinghy. Sandy takes us back to the beginning: how he got into sailing, where the idea for the voyage came from, why he chose such a small boat, and what it was actually like to set off on an adventure that would take him far beyond anything most people would consider a reasonable dinghy cruise. We talk about the people he met, the unexpected situations along the way, the challenges of travelling such a long distance in such a small boat, and some of the many adventures that eventually became The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crow.
