    Prom Queen

On this episode we do a call in and discuss The Bears started their 3rd-string QB, Case Keenum (38 years old), against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football — and won Keenum threw 2 TDs (to Luther Bird and Raymond) and ran one in, finishing with ~270 passing yards. Bears defense held the Eagles to just 7 points, shutting them out in the second half. The hosts praised head coach Ben Johnson's creative play-calling, including a fake quarterback sneak that opened up like "the Red Sea." Debate over whether Tyson Bagent (QB #2) or Case Keenum should start the next game vs. the New York Jets. Discussion about the Bears' potential move to Indiana — both hosts strongly prefer the team stays in Illinois. Roger Goodell met with Illinois Governor Pritzker about it. ⚾ Chicago White Sox (big segment) • The Sox beat the Houston Astros 2-0 in the Wild Card round, then took Game 1 vs. the Cleveland Guardians 4-0. • A Japanese player hit a 3-run home run that wowed the hosts. • Sox praised for their young, energetic roster — three players with 30+ home runs on the season. • Game 2 scheduled for Wednesday with a blackout event (all fans in black). 🏀 NBA / WNBA • NBA Media Day happened — LeBron James showed up with a fresh bald head. • WNBA Playoffs update: • Atlanta Dream beat Washington Mystics (2-0) • Las Vegas Aces eliminated Caitlin Clark & the Indiana Fever (2-1) • New York Liberty beat Minnesota Lynx (upset) • Golden State Valkyries beat Dallas Wings (2-1, came from behind) • Semifinal matchups: Aces vs. Valkyries, Dream vs. Liberty • Angel Reese won Defensive Player of the Year; A'ja Wilson favored for 5th MVP 🏈 Other NFL Notes • Kansas City Chiefs look like their old dominant selves — undefeated, Mahomes sharp. • Atlanta Falcons / Kirk Cousins drama — Cousins lost his starting job to Michael Penix Jr. last year. • LA Rams lost to Denver Broncos after leading by 16 at halftime; Aaron Donald dealing with a back injury. • LA Chargers struggling — winless and lost to the Las Vegas Raiders. • New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart tore his ACL; Washington's Jalen Daniels dealing with an elbow injury. 🎤 Lightning Round / Fun Questions • Annoyed vs. Irritated? — Both the same, and one host admits he's annoyed every single day. • Who has the best jewelry — MLB or NFL players? — MLB players wear bigger Cuban links more consistently; NFL receivers get flashier but less frequently. • Tell-tale signs of being mad: One host goes quiet; the other starts dropping a lot more curse words.

    Meeting the Browns

We kick off with a casual week-in-review before diving into sports talk. Boxing: Ryan Garcia beats Conor Benn by TKO. College Football: Major upsets — #1 Ohio State falls to Texas, Oregon loses to Oklahoma State, Michigan beats #10 Oklahoma. Notre Dame wins easily. • Women's Basketball: USA wins the FIBA Cup gold, beating France undefeated. • NFL Week 1 (Main Focus): The Chicago Bears crush the Panthers 59-37 in an explosive opener. Caleb Williams impresses with 2 passing + 2 rushing TDs. De'Andre Swift (124 yds, 3 TDs) and Kyle Mannga (104 yds, 1 TD) dominate on the ground. Despite the big win, penalties and DB play are flagged as areas to clean up. • Week 2 Preview: Bears host the Vikings for their first home game — city is hyped. Keys are reducing penalties and containing Justin Jefferson. • The rest of NFL Week 1 gets a quick scan — notable moments include Deshaun Watson throwing a pick on the very first play back, and the entire NFC South going 0-1. The episode wraps up with laughs about Lamone's upcoming vacation.
