    We walk by faith, not by sight

    As a child, Wayne Smith led a mostly normal, Jewish life with his parents and younger brother on the South Side of Chicago. He didn't know what fate lingered to snatch his sight. As his vision dimmed from a rare retinal disease, so did his idea of a loving and powerful God who was capable of caring for him and his life path. He lost all hope and preferred to end his own life. Yet, the very physical challenge that the "disabled" him unveiled the greatest spiritual truth to his spirit.

    Antwan Peterson searched the world for years to gain a sense of his identity and purpose in life. That search led him to the deceitful temptations of the streets and the "reward" of crime. After losing his freedom, he re-discovered the lessons of his praying grandmother and childhood friend who led him to church. But, could Christ truly redeem him after a life of rebellion? Within the prison walls, Antwan learned that God was able to work a reconstruction of his soul.
