    100. Farm Girls Celebrate 100 Episodes (Part 1)

WOOHOO! 100 EPISODES! Can you believe we've been chatting with you all for 100 episodes? Whether you've been here since day one or just found our little corner of the internet, thank you for laughing with us, crying with us, and making this community what it is. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than by handing you the microphone. In this special 100th episode, we're answering your biggest questions and listening to your voicemails as we look back on how this podcast got started, the highs (and lows) of creating content, hosting live shows, building an online community, and sticking with something even when it's scary. This conversation was just too good to fit into one episode, so we're turning our 100th celebration into a two-part series! Be sure to come back next week for Part 2, where we'll continue answering your questions, sharing more stories, and celebrating this incredible milestone together. Here's to 100 episodes, and thank you for being part of every single one! 99. Farm Girls Talk About Being Nicer to Themselves

This week, we are reminding ourselves, and all of you, to be a little kinder to the person staring back in the mirror. Why is it so easy to encourage our friends while being our own toughest critics? We dive into the guilt, perfectionism, and impossible standards so many women, moms, and farmers put on themselves. From skipped workouts and too much screen time to unfinished to-do lists, they share honest stories about the pressure to always be doing more and why giving yourself grace isn't always as easy as it sounds. Later, we answer a listener's question about entrepreneurial burnout and offer advice on navigating the highs and lows of building a business. We also swap stories about accidentally sharing a toothbrush, creepy Facebook Marketplace pickups, and an upcoming trip to New York City. As always, expect plenty of laughs, relatable moments, and a reminder that you're doing better than you think. 98. Farm Girls Unfiltered with Mikayla McGee

This is the very first episode in a new series called “Farm Girls Unfiltered”! We’re kicking things off with a special guest who knows Annaliese better than just about anyone: her sister, Mikayla McGee of Jon-De Farm. From growing up on a dairy farm together to raising their own kids, the sisters share hilarious childhood stories, talk about what it's really like working in agriculture, and discuss how Mikayla went from farm kid to managing her family's fifth-generation dairy operation. Mikayla also shares her adoption journey as she opens up about building her family, the realities behind the process, and why she hopes people will have more compassion for birth mothers. Of course, it wouldn't be a Farm Girls episode without plenty of laughs along the way, including chaotic stories about goats, caffeine addiction, and a memorable poop confession to wrap things up! 94. Farm Girls Talk About Being Your Own Cheerleader

This week, we’re talking about something a lot of us struggle with: being your own biggest cheerleader. Whether it’s promoting your business, asking for opportunities, pitching yourself to brands, or finally sharing that project you’ve been sitting on for years, sometimes the hardest part is believing in yourself enough to put yourself out there. We talk about why confidence is not arrogance, how closed mouths don’t get fed, and why nobody is going to magically discover your talents if you never talk about them. Annaliese also shares behind-the-scenes stories from launching her book, reaching out to media, and throwing herself a full-on book release party complete with a balloon arch. Of course, the conversation eventually turns into classic Farm Girls chaos with AOL screen names that absolutely should not have existed, period horror stories after getting off birth control, and moon water witchery. This episode is motivational, filled with fun, and a reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is believe in yourself first.
