SELL WITHOUT THE "ICK" | How to Sell More without Being Pushy with Nikki Rausch

If selling has ever made you think “Ugh, I hate this”, this episode will change everything! Sales strategist Nikki Rausch, founder of Sales Maven, breaks down how to sell more without being pushy and how women entrepreneurs can approach sales in a way that feels natural, respectful, and genuinely human.  If traditional sales tactics, hard pitching, and “bro marketing” have never felt like you, Nikki's approach to sales for women offers a different way forward: conversations instead of pressure, curiosity instead of convincing, and invitations instead of manipulation. Sales isn’t something you do to someone - it’s something you do with someone. 🔥 What You’ll Learn in This Episode: 1. Sales isn't something you do to someone - it's something you do with them. The episode's biggest reframe is to think of sales as a conversation rather than an attempt to convince someone to buy. 2. Your job isn't to convince someone to buy from you. If you're trying to convince someone, you've probably already moved into the wrong dynamic. Instead, determine whether there's a genuine fit. 3. Permission changes the entire sales interaction. Before presenting an offer, you should have permission to put that offer in front of the person. This helps prevent the interaction from feeling intrusive or manipulative. 4. Create curiosity instead of dumping information on people. Nikki identifies curiosity as the second step in her Selling Staircase. The goal is to make someone think, “What is that? Tell me more.” 5. Adapt your communication to the person. Nikki explains that she doesn't give exactly the same presentation to everyone. She adjusts her message according to the person in front of her, including their motivational drivers. Whether you're new to entrepreneurship, an experienced business owner, or simply trying to figure out how to sell without being salesy, this conversation will give you a more human approach to selling. CONNECT WITH Nikki Rausch (Sales Maven) Nikki is a sales strategist, speaker, and founder of Sales Maven. A Master NLP Practitioner and author of three books (including The Selling Staircase), Nikki brings 25+ years of experience helping women entrepreneurs master natural, permission-based selling that leads to "yes" without the ick.  🔗 Website: yoursalesmaven.com 📱 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/your_sales_maven/ 🎙️ Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sales-maven/id1500066488 RESOURCES PRIVATE PODCAST: Secrets of Standing Out Online www.herfirst3years.com Instagram: @chardetryel PROGRAMS & FREE TRAININGS Start Your Podcast Grow Your Podcast Learn How to Be a Guest on Podcasts
