#54. Human Connection & the SheRoams RV Community

In this episode, host Cathy Conrad, has 6 SheRoams members (including herself!) on the podcast to chat about why they joined SheRoams, the benefits of being part of this amazing community and what they love about it. Grab a cup of coffee and join us for this discussion! When we set out to RV full-time and leave our traditional lives and community behind, over time it can feel like something is missing. Building community on the road with other RVing women who "get" this lifestyle fills the gap you may not have even realized was there. While we can never replace our old friends, it is an opportunity to build new relationships we can lean on with other women who share this same lifestyle. SheRoams RV Community was founded on the premise that human connection is essential. Life on the move can feel lonely at times, but being part of SheRoams means always being connected, no matter where you are. This supportive community of women is always there, lifting each other up, being there for the good times and the difficult times. We all get this RV life. All are welcome. All ages, backgrounds and types RV travel, whether you are full-time or part-time, we understand, because there is always a common thread that runs through all of us. Supporting each other moving forward in this life of adventure, we have your back! 47. Pressing Pause, Making Space, & Moving Forward

After a quiet couple of months, I’m back — and I’ve got some life updates to share! In this episode, I’m opening up about our recent decision to step out of full-time RV living and into a temporary rental home. What started as a short-term plan to find land and build a home turned into four years of stationary RV life — and we finally hit a point where it was time to pivot. I talk about: Why we decided to rent a house (even though it wasn’t the plan) The emotional and practical side of moving out of the RV What I’ve learned about flexibility, minimalism, and trusting the bigger plan How this shift has reignited my love for RVing and travel What’s next for us — and the podcast! If you’re navigating RV life, stuck in the in-between, or simply need a reminder that it’s okay to shift gears, this episode is for you. Thanks for sticking with me — it’s good to be back. Let’s keep moving forward, one adventure at a time.
