Dear Bitterness, Please Exit Through The Journal

One month can hold a lifetime of emotion: a comment that hits too hard, a social media post from a former acquaintance stirs up some bad memories, a dream that brings someone back to your heart, and a handful of quiet wins you barely noticed. We sit down with our journals and show you how an end of month reflection can turn all that noise into insight, healing, and forward motion, even if daily journaling has never been your thing. We walk through a simple monthly journaling ritual that feels like meditation: set up a calm space, write by hand, and let the page tell the truth. Along the way, we share personal stories about how a cold conversation revealed where compassion was missing, how triggers can become practical wake up calls, and how gratitude can shift your energy fast when you feel down. You will hear how we look back on relationships, boundaries, rest, hydration, and the moments that left us either drained or deeply nourished. You also get a set of reflection questions you can reuse every 30 days, plus a bonus focus on forgiveness. We talk through real options for releasing resentment, including therapy, energy work, support groups, and other suggestions that can help you let go without pretending it did not hurt. If you want more clarity, more peace, and a open to a new monthly reset ritual, this one is for you. Please subscribe for more High Vibes Lifestyle Podcast practices, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and let us know what you discovered during your journaling practice.  Keywords:  #mindfulness #peace #reflection #breakthroughs #journaling #meditation #consciousliving #love #selflove #selfcompassion #compassion #connection #spiritualpodcasts #personalgrowth #spiritualgrowth #highfrequencies #releasingresentment #bitterness #forgiveness #gratitude #healingjourney  For more information, please connect with Jodi at the following website: https://www.hivibeslifestyle.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hivibeslifestyle/ *Production, episode cover art designs, and music by Jodi

Release The Clenches Of Self Doubt Under The Buck Moon

Welcome to another episode of the High Vibes Lifestyle Podcast! The moment you realize you’ve been carrying stress as a personality trait is the moment you’re ready for something different. We’re welcoming the Buck Moon with a quiet, focused guided meditation led by Jodi that helps you quickly downshift, release self-doubt, and reconnect with what you actually need right now. No long preamble, no extra noise, just a clear invitation to breathe, soften, and let go of what’s been clinging to you. We start by framing the Buck Moon as a symbol of growth, maturity, and honest evaluation. Mid-year energy can bring up a lot: half-finished goals, old habits that quietly returned, and the feeling that you “should” be further along. This full moon meditation creates space to notice what has developed and what’s ready to be cleared. With calming prompts and steady breath cues, we guide you to relax your mind, open your heart, and become more receptive to the insights you’ve been pushing aside. From there, we move into energetic clearing around the themes that tend to hit hardest: money blocks, love patterns, and self-worth. We ask the moon to illuminate limiting beliefs, support self-healing, and help us step into a higher frequency of compassion for ourselves and others. The closing brings you gently back into your body with reflection and gratitude, so the calm energy doesn’t end when the audio does. If you´d like suggestions of a few questions to ask yourself during this lunar energy, here are a few: What have I outgrown? What am I holding onto just because it´s familiar? What would make more room for the next stage of my life? If you’ve been craving a simple moon ritual that feels grounding and emotionally real, press play. Subscribe and share with other seekers of high-vibes. We are grateful for your support! Reboot: The New Moon´s Quiet Invitation

Mercury retrograde has a reputation for chaos, but we treat it like a permission slip to slow down and get real with ourselves. When texts get weird, tempers get spicy, or your mind feels overloaded, we pull you back to something steadier: your own inner wisdom. With the new moon as a fresh-start backdrop, we talk about how to step away from external noise and listen for what you already know.  We share a set of self-reflection questions and journaling prompts you can use right now for mindfulness, conscious living, and emotional clarity. What truth have you been too busy to hear? Where do you need silence instead of more information? What does “enough” mean to you, and how do you cultivate abundance beyond money? We also offer simple intention-setting lines like “I am creating space for…” and “By the next full moon…” so your reset becomes practical, not just inspirational.  Communication is a big theme because retrograde tends to expose where we hold back, hint, or over-explain. We break down what direct communication really looks like without harshness, how it improves outcomes at work and in relationships, and why clarity often creates more respect with less resentment. From there, we zoom into relationships and boundaries, plus the bigger question of recurring patterns: the lessons that keep showing up until we finally choose a new response rooted in self-love and self-esteem.  If you want a calmer mind, clearer boundaries, and a reset ritual you can actually stick to, press play. Subscribe and share this with a friend who needs a breather. Mind Your Tea

Welcome back to another insightful episode! Today, we´re tackling an age-old pastime in every community-gossiping or spilling the tea. Is it harmless fun or can it have lasting repercussions? Most people would probably say that both are true. Gossip is one of those words people pretend they never touch, yet it shows up everywhere: neighborhoods, workplaces, friend groups, and social media. We start by naming it clearly and without moral panic, because the real issue is not that people talk, it is how quickly “sharing” turns into distortion, judgment, and broken trust. We break gossip into three types: neutral, positive, and negative (or unaligned, if you prefer). Neutral updates can help people feel socially connected. Positive talk can reinforce community values by celebrating someone’s wins when they are not in the room. But negative gossip, slander, and unverified rumors can wreck reputations and make everyone feel like they are walking on eggshells. We also share practical questions we use to check ourselves before we repeat anything: Is it accurate? Is it necessary? Would I say it if they were standing here? Does it help, or is it just for laughs and social acceptance? One story makes the privacy line real: a well-meaning social media post asking for prayers after a community member lands in the ICU, and the family’s quick request to take it down. From there, we talk about what it looks like to be part of a community while staying private, especially after moving from a big city to a small town where curiosity can feel like pressure. We share simple boundary scripts, what we personally keep private (finances, routines, relationships, health, other people’s information), and what we choose to share instead so we can still build genuine connection. If you have ever felt pulled into “the tea,” or judged for having boundaries, this conversation will help you respond with more calm and intention. Subscribe for more grounded self-growth and share this with a friend who needs healthier community energy. Rainbows + Moonbeams Part II: Honoring Pride Without Shame

Welcome back to another informative episode with your host, Jodi!  Pride gets misunderstood fast. For us, it is not about ranking identities or pretending life is easy, it is about dropping shame and choosing self-acceptance so we can live honestly in our relationships, our communities, and our own minds. We break down LGBTQIA+ in plain language, because clarity is a form of care. We walk through the most common meanings of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, aromantic, and why the “plus” exists. We also talk about pansexual attraction, non-binary identity, and how language keeps evolving as people find words that actually fit their lived experience. Then we slow down for a deeper, more respectful look at ¨Two-Spirit¨. We share why it is best understood as a modern umbrella term rooted in Indigenous contexts, why it is cultural and community-specific, and why it should not be treated like a generic label for all Indigenous LGBTQ people. We also name the impact of colonization and Christianization on gender-diverse roles, because history shapes what gets remembered, celebrated, or erased. We close with a crucial distinction: identity pride versus ego-based pride versus superiority. Healthy pride sounds like “I am OK as I am.” Ego needs comparison. Superiority justifies violence and bullying, in many cases. If you care about mental health, belonging, and real inclusion, this difference matters. Subscribe for more grounded conversations and feel free to share this with someone who is open to different perspectives. #pride #culturalexpression #selfexpression #selflove #love #mentalhealth #noshame #prideseason #genderidentity #sexualidentity #acceptance #humanity #compassion #lgbtqia+ #twospirit #spirituality #gratitude  For more information, please connect with Jodi at the following website: https://www.hivibeslifestyle.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hivibeslifestyle/ *Production, episode cover art designs, and music by Jodi

The Modern Spiritual Economy: Debate and Perspectives

According to marketing research firms that focus primarily on spiritual coaching, meditation programs, retreats (virtual and in-person), energy healing, fitness and related businesses have estimated that $190 billion dollars was generated in 2025. A $5 meditation class feels simple. To some, a $25,000 retreat plus airfare feels like a moral debate. Despite lots of scientific evidence supporting various modalities, in this episode, we explore why the spirituality and wellness space triggers so much controversy the moment money enters the chat, and how to think about it without defaulting to either “all scammers” or “trust the vibe.”  We walk through the main objections people raise about the personal development industry: feeling overcharged, hearing marketing promises that sound too good to be true, and not knowing what credentials actually mean in coaching, energy healing, and retreat culture. Then we flip the lens and talk about the reality of “wellness as a business” from the practitioner side: years of training/education, time, program creation, materials, venue costs, the work of running and marketing a service, and thousands of cases of people with improved health.  From there, we zoom out to big-names like Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty and why celebrity status changes trust. We talk reputational transfer and why appearances at network marketing events can make a controversial business model feel credible to fans, even when many participants do not profit. We close with practical questions you can use before you pay for any retreat, course, or spiritual coaching. And we remind all, if you don´t like someone´s rhetoric, you always have a choice to listen or read with an open mind or not at all. If you enjoy this podcast, please subscribe and share this with a friend who loves self-help and progressive thinking. Thank you and keep shining your light! *Please note: This episode is not referring to any people within the wellness space; speakers, healers, authors, doctors, scientists, religious leaders, gurus, etc. who use their services to sexually, emotionally, spiritually or physically abuse people (especially children) and animals. We DO NOT advocate or support any violence, emotional abuse or bullying on this platform. Documentaries Mentioned: Unwell, A 6-episode documentary featuring various holistic modalities used for healing. An Unconventional Story of Healing: How One Woman Processed Grief After Selling Her Beloved Home

Watching a home slip out of your hands can feel like losing a friend; even if you made the decision to let it go. We talk about the kind of grief that doesn’t always get taken seriously: the sadness that shows up after you sell a place that gave you peace, stability, and a sense of belonging. When a closing drags on for months, the emotional “goodbye” can restart again and again, and that roller coaster can leave you feeling raw, restless, and unsure of what you’re even mourning. We share the story of Zoe, who thought she was ready the moment she signed the papers. The night before the final walkthrough, she sleeps on the living room floor as a ritual, grateful for everything the space held. Then life gets even stranger: after closing she moves into the apartment next door, close enough to hear the new owners’ keys and see what changes they make. It stings, it shocks her, and it also becomes an unexpected path to closure, especially when a forgotten wind chime opens a door to tenderness and release. Along the way, we push back on the culture of “get over it” and constant distraction. We offer simple, grounded ways to move through grief without getting stuck: letting yourself cry, taking a walk, shaking out the heaviness with a few minutes of movement, trying guided breathwork, and finding people who can listen with compassion instead of jumping in with unsolicited fixes. If you’ve ever missed a home, a relationship, a loved one, or an old version of your life, this conversation will meet you there. Lulu, Delulu + The Grind: Layers of Gratitude from NYC´s Luxury Fitness Scene

NYC boutique cycling once had people sprinting down subway stairs like it was a competitive sport, all for a front-row bike and a brush with an instructor who felt larger than life. A recent binge of a candid docuseries about that world sent us straight back to the candlelit studios, the hype, the expensive athleisure, and the way fitness could start to look like a status symbol. It’s funny, it’s nostalgic, and it’s also a little unsettling when we name what was really happening underneath all that energy packaged to be ¨high-vibe¨. But, was it?!! Haha In this episode, we share one experience of what it was like to work inside the New York City luxury gym scene from the late 90´s to the beginning of the pandemic, where the standard was relentless, the clients were high-performing, and your body and schedule quietly became the price of admission. We unpack my perspective of the cultural gap between group fitness instructors and personal trainers, why professionalism gets defined differently in each lane, and how easy it is for any wellness trend to slide from community into obsession. Then we bring it home to the real theme: gratitude as a lifestyle. We don’t use gratitude to erase the hard parts like burnout, body image pressure, eating disorders, or the extremes of competitive bodybuilding. We use it to pull meaning out of the chapters we’ve outgrown, to thank the mentors, co-workers and clients who shaped us, and to set better boundaries as we reinvent ourselves. If you’ve ever said “I hated that job” or “I can’t believe I lived like that,” this one offers a calmer, stronger way to hold your past. If it resonates, subscribe to the High Vibes Lifestyle Podcast and share this with a friend who’s rebuilding their life. What’s one experience that helped shape you that you are grateful for?
