    The Heart Behind the Strong Dependent Women Podcast + A Big Series Announcement!

    Why did I start the Strong Dependent Women Podcast? In this episode, I’m sharing the heart behind this podcast, how God placed it on my heart, and why I believe true strength is found not in independence, but in dependence on the Lord. While the world encourages women to rely on themselves, Scripture calls us to trust God, seek Him daily, and build our lives on His truth. My prayer for this podcast has always been to encourage women to strengthen their relationship with Christ through reading the Bible, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. I’m also excited to share what’s coming next for the podcast! Over the next 24 weeks, we’ll be diving into the lives of 24 women from the Bible, exploring their stories, their faith, their struggles, and what they teach us about God’s character and faithfulness. Whether you’re a longtime listener or joining us for the first time, I hope this episode encourages you to draw closer to the Lord and reminds you that true strength is found in depending on Him. Inspired by the song “Hallelujah Even Here,” this conversation is a reminder that God isn’t only present in the big milestones… He’s with us in the middle of laundry, motherhood, work, conversations, car rides, and all the in-between moments too. We also dive into what it means to build a real relationship with God through both relationship and obedience: spending intentional time with Him, praying, reading His Word, and inviting Him into every part of our lives. Psalm 37:23 reminds us that “The Lord directs the steps of the godly.     You can’t do Biblical Womanhood Alone (RERUN)

I share my heart on striving to be a biblical wife and woman while still navigating my own imperfections, and how God continues to call us higher even in the middle of our growth. We talk about the beauty of community within the church and why we were never meant to walk this out alone. Titus 2 shows us the importance of older women and men pouring into the next generation, guiding, encouraging, and sharpening one another in truth. There is so much grace in being taught, corrected, and supported by other believers. I also challenge you to be in your Bible daily. If we aren’t rooted in God’s Word, we won’t be able to clearly discern what is and isn’t sin—or live the life He’s calling us to. Truth isn’t something we guess at; it’s something we learn through Scripture. This episode is an invitation to grow—to lean into community, to open your Bible consistently, and to pursue the woman God is calling you to be, one step at a time.
