What if some of the manifestation advice you’ve been following is actually getting in the way of what you’re trying to call in? In this Coach Cam Bites episode, I’m breaking down 8 of the biggest manifestation myths I see everywhere—and what actually creates change. Because manifestation isn’t about forcing yourself to think positive, pretending you already have something you don’t, or hustling your way into your dream life. It’s about becoming available for what you desire. And with this episode landing at the peak of the Lions Gate Portal on 8/8, there couldn’t be a better time to question what you’ve been taught about manifestation. Consider this your invitation to get clear on what you’re calling in, release the beliefs that may be blocking you from receiving it, and take aligned action toward the life that’s already calling you forward. We’re talking nervous system regulation, subconscious beliefs, self-trust, embodiment, intuitive action, and learning how to work with yourself instead of constantly trying to override yourself. I also share pieces of my own manifestation journey—including how surrendering control and following seemingly random intuitive nudges helped lead me into the career I have today. In this episode: Myth #1: Just think positive. Your conscious thoughts are only one piece of the puzzle. Manifestation goes much deeper than slapping a positive thought on top of what you’re actually feeling. Myth #2: You just need to raise your vibration. Being “high vibe” 24/7 isn’t the goal. Sometimes raising your vibration means going into the grief, fear, anger, shadow, or subconscious programming that’s asking to be healed. Myth #3: Just repeat affirmations. If your subconscious doesn’t believe what you’re saying, repeating it louder isn’t necessarily going to change that. I share how to create bridge affirmations that actually meet you where you are and help you build self-trust. Myth #4: Act as if. There’s a difference between pretending and embodying. Instead of performing a life you don’t have yet, ask: Who is the version of me who can hold this desire—and how does she move through the world? Myth #5: You have to work really hard. More force doesn’t always create more results. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is create enough space to hear your intuition, trust it, and receive. Myth #6: Set it and forget it. Your desires aren’t just things you put on a vision board and wait for. They’re invitations to become someone new—and sometimes that means taking the weird, inconvenient, completely intuitive next step. Myth #7: You have to be super specific. You don’t have to micromanage the Universe. Sometimes getting too attached to the exact person, job, number, house, or outcome keeps you from receiving something even more aligned. Get specific about how you want your life to feel. Myth #8: If it’s not happening, something is wrong with me. A manifestation taking longer than you expected does not mean you’ve failed. Sometimes there’s something asking to be healed, released, refined, or embodied before you can fully hold what you’re asking for. A few Coach Cam reminders: “Manifestation comes from feeling, not thinking.” “When we lie to ourselves, it’s a form of self-abandonment.” “It is already yours.” Your job isn’t to force the manifestation. Your job is to become the version of you who is available to receive it. Listen in, notice which of these eight myths you’ve been operating from, and ask yourself: What would change if I stopped trying to manifest perfectly and started trusting myself instead?
