Marbella says goodbye to Dolly Parton plus more Dinner Parties

Welcome to Marbella with Him & Her, your weekly podcast presented by PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah) who are expats from the UK living in San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella. Each week you can listen to their busy lives and some fun married banter about their life in Spain. PJ is a freelance marketing expert while Hannah is a radio and tv presenter. This week they start with an update about the weather drop in Marbella as well as their weekly exercise routines that are helping them stay as fit as possible. They also have a chat about Tim Curry who also passed away within the same few days. Hannah mentions a memorable interview she did with a lady called Elissa Freiha who is the founder of Womena, helping to give women a voice in the Middle East, and about many of the misconceptions about their lives. PJ also mentions her entrepreneur of the week interview with Yo Sushi founder Simon Woodroffe, and some of his interesting anecdotes from business. They had their friend Charlotte over for the night on Friday and they did two of the dishes that they did the week before for other friends, the braised leeks and the crème Brûlée, but the main course was five spice pork. Due to time constraints Hannah made the crème Brûlée. Listen to find out how it all went! While out shopping for ingredients Hannah bumped into her second cousin in the supermarket and she described what a nice feeling it was to bump into a family member completely randomly especially as they do not live in San Pedro. This week's articles they chatted about from their collaborators the Euro Weekly News included Take That coming to Fuengirola next year as part of their tour, the varying times that the schools are starting again in September, some people that were horrified at the price of their paella because they did not understand what p/p meant and some sound advice about how to make it harder for robbers to open your door with a credit card.
