    Episode 30: Halloween (1978)

    The sibs are supercharging their SEO this week by posting the Halloween episode on Halloween! John Carpenter's 1978 slasher is full of horny teens and the sibs certainly aren't complaining. They also realize that Michael Myers is just a hilarious guy who loves bits. Dr Loomis gets (deservedly) dragged for filth and the sibs debate whether Sheriff Brackett is the most incompetent lawman they've ever seen on film. ACAB and also, beware those killer skunks!!

    Episode 29: The Witch (2015)

    Join the sibs as they live deliciously with Robert Eggers' directorial debut, The Witch! Turns out they both take some issue with Puritanism as an ideology and as the foundation for a lot of our country's societal structures. Also Will is a Bad Dad. Besides that, you can expect the usual tangents about the word "folktale" making Shannon horny, Tristan's dubious status as an official New Englander, and of course Black Phillip as queer icon. Let the sibs guide thy hand and thanks for your patience during their brief hiatus! Happy spooky season!

    Episode 28: Rear Window (1954)

    The last ep before a couple weeks off (Shannon is travelling), the sibs gaze out their apartment windows and explore urban loneliness in this week's episode on Rear Window. At this point it should surprise no one to hear that both sibs found Grace Kelly to be distractingly gorgeous, and that the murder of Mrs Thorwald would've gone unsolved if either of them were on the case. Tristan's 1950's newsreel voice makes a comeback even though this film does not use voiceover, and the sibs get pumped for spooky season. Time to dredge the East River!

    Episode 27: An American Werewolf In London (1981)

    Put on your scally cap and puffer jacket to brave the wind and rain in this week's episode on John Landis' An American Werewolf In London. Shannon makes some corrections to previous statements made on this podcast and apologizes deeply to Connie Nielsen, the sibs discuss whether or not they'd want to attend their own funeral, and Tristan just wants to be related to Nurse Price so he has a friend to visit in London ok?? Not for any other reason.

    Episode 26: 9 to 5 (1980)

    The sibs apologise in advance for insulting the listeners and for the overall level of bullsh*t this episode. This week the sibs are discussing Shannon's pick, the Colin Higgin's directed 9 to 5. Sidebars about Dolly Parton are of course here, and the sibs get into some of the big questions this movie raises - has our workplace changed since 1980? Are you the type of person that assumes everyone hates you at the office? Who knows how to work the copy machine right away?? Don't forget - "they let you dream just to watch 'em shatter, you're just a step on the bossman's ladder!"

    Episode 25: In Bruges (2008)

    Join the sibs as they journey to a f*cking fairytale city with Martin McDonagh's film In Bruges. Admittedly both sibs are coming off of bachelor/bachelorette weekends and are a bit punchy this episode. Tangents abound and cover everything from favorite Hostess products to the validity of dubbing 2024 The Year of Most Annoying Movie Trailers. Brandon Gleeson is the milkshake and Colin Farrell is the french fries. IYKYK.

    Episode 24: Spirited Away (2001)

    Apologies to listeners for the posting delay - technical difficulties! If you've ever written your own lyrics to the instrumental theme of this movie, this episode is for you! Join the sibs as they discuss the importance of hard work, kindness, and frog racism in Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. Special shout-out to the sibs' late grandma, who took them to their first viewing of this movie and inspired Tristan to jump around couch cushions wearing a Yubaba-inspired blanket and pretending he could fly. Elliptical machines and having quiet train time are also discussed this week.

    Episode 23: The Fugitive (1993)

    We got a gopher! The sibs don their coveralls and jump into the greater Chicago sewage system for this week's episode on Andrew Davis' The Fugitive. Shannon tries not to poke too many logic holes and Tristan speculates about his ability to differentiate between hair colors. Is this Tommy Lee Jones' best performance? Should we trust any cardiologists? Who is leaking so much info to the Chicago press corps?!? All this and of course, excitement for Alien Romulus on this week's episode.
