    Send us Fan Mail Andy Atkinson was working in the fast-paced athletic department at Boise State University, traveling with football and living an active lifestyle when a persistent cough led to a shocking diagnosis,,, his heart was functioning at just 7%. Doctors told him there wasn't much he could do and he was advised to simplify his life, prepare for a defibrillator implant, and get his affairs in order. But Andy refused to accept that outcome. A desperate prayer to Jesus became the turning point in his journey. He opens up about the mindset shifts, faith, journaling, gratitude practices, music, and daily disciplines that helped him move from hopelessness to hope. He credits what he calls the " J's" - Jesus, Journaling, Jelly Roll, Jen (his wife), and Joe Dispenza all as important parts of his healing journey.
