Episode 486: NLCS Game 1 Reactions | ALCS Preview

Episode 486: NLCS Game 1 didn’t go as advised, but that didn’t stop it from being a banger. The Milwaukee Brewers claim victory in Game 1 of the NLCS over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jacob Misiorowski took the pill against All-Star and two-time Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal in a pitching matchup that was expected to be the best in the playoffs, but fell flat instead. Both pitchers struggled at points in their outings and turned the game over to their bullpens early. Dallas, JayHay, Tyler, and Jared all break down the performances from both starting pitchers and praise the series-altering work the Brewers’ bullpen did in Game 1. The guys talk about the offenses that did not particularly show up in a big way but showed out when needed most for the Brewers. The multiple ways of scoring the Crew are proficient in came through for them with a Luis Lara RBI to push them over the top. Listen to the full breakdown of NLCS Game 1 and stay for the group’s official picks and predictions for the ALCS that features the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Guardians.
