SLIPKNOT - ARSENAL REACTION | WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST HEAR?!

Slipknot have just dropped a brand new track called “Arsenal” completely out of nowhere — on a random Wednesday evening here in Dublin — and I was NOT expecting this! In this video, I react to “Arsenal” for the first time and give my honest thoughts on Slipknot’s latest single. There’s a lot going on here. The track is raw, aggressive and driven forward by some seriously precise drumming from Eloy Casagrande, making this his first studio release with Slipknot. The song also features a huge amount of samples, scratching and other elements that immediately made me think of Sid Wilson and his contribution to the classic Slipknot sound. Considering Sid only recently departed the band, I couldn't help but wonder whether some of the imagery and ideas in the video could be interpreted as a little bit of a poke at him. Maybe I'm reading too much into it — but it's certainly interesting timing! And then there's that ending… 😳 The samples and sounds towards the end make the track genuinely disturbing and give “Arsenal” a very strange atmosphere compared with what I was expecting from Slipknot's return. Is this a sign of where the next era of Slipknot is heading? Watch my full reaction and let me know what YOU think of Slipknot - Arsenal in the comments! 🤘 LIKE the video if you enjoyed it 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more music reactions, reviews, rankings & metal content 💬 Let me know your thoughts on “Arsenal”! #Slipknot #Arsenal #SlipknotArsenal #SlipknotReaction #EloyCasagrande #SidWilson #SlipknotNewSong #Slipknot2026 #MetalReaction #MetalMusic #NuMetal 🖤 Join the Discord: https://discord.gg/srHQ47fnKm 🔥 Support the channel on Patreon: https://patreon.com/ThatSoundPodcast 📸 Follow on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/that_sound_podcast 🌲 Linktree: https://linktr.ee/thatsoundpodcast 📩 Business inquiries / band promos: thatsoundpodcast@gmail.com0:00 Initial impressions 2:10 Song reaction and analysis 7:04 Final thoughts and closing Hosted on Acast. PRESIDENT – BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE | Full Album Reaction & Review

PRESIDENT – BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE | FULL ALBUM REACTION & REVIEW President are back with their new album Blood of Your Empire, and after listening through the entire album, I have to say… I was seriously impressed! In this video, I sit down for a full album listen-through and reaction, giving you my honest thoughts as I experience each track before giving the album my final score at the end. What really stood out to me was just how experimental President are willing to be on this record. You still get that unmistakable President DNA running through the album, but they aren't afraid to bring in completely different influences and sounds. We're talking punk rock, drum & bass, unexpected instrumentation and even trumpets appearing on one of the tracks! One of the biggest standouts for me was “This Will Divide Us”, a powerful ballad-type track that shows another side of the band and adds even more variety to the album. Overall, I went into this album curious about what President would do next, and I came away very impressed with Blood of Your Empire. 🔥 Full album reaction 🔥 Track-by-track first impressions 🔥 Discussion of the experimental elements 🔥 “This Will Divide Us” 🔥 Final album score What did YOU think of Blood of Your Empire? I Saw Metallica At The Sphere… Here’s What I REALLY Thought!

Metallica at the Sphere in Las Vegas — was it everything fans hoped it would be? In this video, I’m joined by Dave Ferraro to get his honest and detailed review after experiencing both nights of Metallica’s opening Sphere weekend. Dave is one of the biggest Metallica fans I know, having attended almost 50 Metallica shows, so I wanted to get his perspective on what could be one of the most ambitious live shows the band has ever attempted. We talk about: 🤘 What was the buildup to the Sphere like? 🤘 What did Dave think when he first walked into the Sphere? 🤘 His favourite Metallica visuals and moments 🤘 What surprised him the most 🤘 What worked brilliantly — and what didn't 🤘 Anything that disappointed him 🤘 The differences between the two nights 🤘 What the day between the shows was like 🤘 Where is the best place to watch Metallica inside the Sphere? 🤘 Is the Sphere actually better than seeing Metallica in a traditional stadium? 🤘 And ultimately… is Metallica at the Sphere worth the hype? With Dave having seen Metallica so many times over the years, this isn't just another concert review — it's the perspective of a lifelong fan experiencing Metallica in a completely new environment. Let us know in the comments: Have you seen Metallica at the Sphere? The Scratch's Gary Regan: Pull Like A Dog, His Musical Journey & The Future of The Band

Gary Regan from Irish folk-metal powerhouse The Scratch joins me for a deep dive into his journey through music, joining The Scratch, the band's evolution and their incredible new album, Pull Like A Dog. We get into Gary's musical upbringing, the first albums that influenced him, the artists and guitar players that shaped his playing, and his journey through the Irish heavy music scene with bands including Hero In Error and Red Enemy before eventually becoming part of The Scratch. We then get right into The Scratch and how the band's sound has evolved over the years. Pull Like A Dog feels like another huge step forward, bringing together the band's Irish and folk influences with progressive metal, djent-inspired riffs, crushing breakdowns and some seriously heavy moments. Gary takes us through some of the tracks on the album, including the stories behind certain songs, the lyrics and even how old poems eventually found their way into the record. We also talk about the chemistry between the four members of The Scratch, what makes the band work so well, the recording process and what it's like being part of a band whose live shows are genuinely unlike anything I've experienced in recent years. We chat about some of the band's biggest shows and festivals, including Bloodstock, Inveagh Gardens and Electric Picnic, and look ahead to what's next for The Scratch. And, of course, we finish things off with a fun quickfire round with Gary covering everything from Guinness and Irish music to his favourite pastimes, bands, food and plenty more! If you're a fan of The Scratch, Pull Like A Dog, Irish metal, folk metal, progressive metal or just great conversations with Irish musicians, there's loads here for you. 🎸 Check out The Scratch: The Scratch Official Website 🎧 Listen to Pull Like A Dog and support The Scratch wherever you get your music.
