Shelter Short: Rejected from Saturday Night Live

SNL just celebrated 50 years, so Andy and Matt (with Lisa taking the day off) are hunkering down in the shelter to salute comedy’s most legendary rejects. This episode shines a spotlight on the stars who got turned away from SNL only to bounce back and create cultural icons. From Jim Carrey’s In Living Color antics to Pee-wee Herman’s Playhouse madness, we’re celebrating the underdogs who flipped rejection into red-carpet careers.
