Love Kayla, Love This Pod, but Fix Ads!
May 23
I was SO stoked to see Kayla had a podcast and the daily snackable ones are awesome, so excited to learn more from her and experts. However, there are sooooo many ads and the podcast is super choppy with all the random music breaks and ads and intros.. on already super short episodes. I listen to a lot of podcasts and feel the production team could do better here.
It’s about time!

Too many ads and questionable science
May 31
Look, I get that Kayla is trying to make money here, but I am bothered by the number of ads. I’m also dissapointed by the lack of rigor in the science being suggested by the guests. The sleep and mediation stuff has been fine, but the glucose stuff is poorly reserached. I think the intention with this podcast is to help people reach their health and fitness goals, and I fear that the gluclose food tips instead encourages people to be more anxious about food. Most people listening to this podcast are probably already anxious about their health, and anxiety about your health is actually worse for your health than eating food in whatever order you want.
