    Elsbeth: Season 3, Episode 20 - That's All

The Good Pod closes out Elsbeth Season 3 with the finale, That's All, and it might just be a series finale in disguise. Marissa and Jason break down the murder at the swanky Hotel Riley, where Broadway legend Patti LuPone plays cabaret diva Ruby Lane, who has more secrets than stevia packets in her tote bag. With guest stars Michael Urie and Nathan Lee Graham along for the ride, this episode is jam-packed with Broadway talent, self-referential winks, and a finale that wraps everything up with a little too much closure to be a coincidence. Plus, Teddy and Roy are getting engaged, Wagner will not stop talking about champagne corks, and Kaya is officially sticking around. Season four is confirmed, but this episode was clearly written just in case. 00:00 – Jason serenades the podcast to honor Elsbeth's musical episode and Marissa is speechless 01:53 – Is this a series finale? The Good Wife: Season 5, Episode 12 - We the Juries

We the Juries is one of those Good Wife episodes that makes you remember exactly why this show is so special. Season 5 is barreling toward something, and this episode makes that crystal clear. The setup sounds wild on paper: one courtroom, one case, two juries seated at the same time with Lockhart Gardner defending Howard and Florrick Agos defending Darla. Diane versus Alicia. Will versus Cary. All of it in the same room, all of it getting messier by the minute. Add in an Easter egg that will blow the minds of anyone following along on the Elsbeth side of the pod, Will Gardner fully running out of Fs to give, Marilyn's inconclusive ethics report, and a tense diner meeting between Eli and Jim Moody, and this one covers a lot of ground. 00:00 - Intro, xdcrzy gets a personalized Will Gardner courtroom dream sequence07:00 - Episode breakdown: the two-jury setup and where Will and Alicia stand in Season 514:00 - Voir dire and Cary's extremely personal jury questioning about women whose names start with K18:00 - Kalinda approaches Cary in the hallway; Will sends Kalinda to dig dirt while Alicia sends Robin33:00 - Settlement offer discussions and both teams spot the jurors talking to each other35:00 - The bar scene, Kalinda and Cary, and the Elsbeth universe Easter egg cameo you missed41:00 - Will meets Tom Skerritt as the Paisley Group CEO; Jason has never heard of Steel Magnolias57:00 - Eli and Jim Moody at the diner: the good soldier conversation and what Jim might actually be up to01:01 - Alicia gets lied to by both Will and Peter in the same day; Marilyn's report lands inconclusive01:11 - William Archibald Gardner has officially run out of Fs to give Enjoyed the episode? Elsbeth: Season 3, Episode 19 - Catch and Kill

Elsbeth Season 3 is one episode away from the finale, and Episode 19 is serving old Hollywood glamour, a repeat offender, and a murder weapon nobody on this show ever uses: a gun. Tracy Ullman returns to the Elsbeth universe as Betty, a retro gossip columnist straight out of a noir fever dream who kills talk show host Otis to protect her secret identity as Pop Lunatic, an anonymous online gossip account. To cover her tracks, she frames socialite Lorena Marchuk, planting the murder weapon in a very dangerous couch cushion. Elsbeth, Buzz, and Grace work to untangle the setup, aided by Nadine (Lauren Bonetti back at it again, now hawking dog fragrances), a very clever fake tip, and the one clue Betty never saw coming. Commissioner Tully continues to make himself known, and Wagner does what Wagner does: holds the line and gets the pods. 0:00 – Welcome to the pod, listener shoutouts, a five-star review from xdcrzy, and dreams of Will Gardner 4:08 – Jennifer O. bought us a coffee, Jason's curls have a timeline, and moiboi makes its comeback 6:57 – The Mix: Tracy Ullman returns as Betty, gossip columnist, 80s wardrobe, velvet limo, and a very juicy murder plan 20:10 – Betty shoots Otis with an actual gun and the hosts have thoughts about it 29:33 – Grace drops the Pop Lunatic bombshell; Wagner has the same reaction as the rest of us 45:04 – Elsbeth on the red carpet, Nadine smells popcorn, and Betty gets a warning shot in her gossip column 56:57 – Elsbeth springs the trap: one fake tip, one warrant, and a pre-written murder column that seals it Enjoyed the episode? The Good Wife: Season 5, Episode 11 - Goliath and David

The Good Pod is back with Season 5, Episode 11 of The Good Wife, "Goliath and David" — and yes, the earworm is real. Florick Agos takes on a copyright case involving a band called Ruh-Roh, a catchy pop cover of a Rebel Kane rap song called Tricky Trick, and a children's TV show called Drama Camp that may have stolen more than just the melody. The catch? Will Gardner is on the other side with Burl, and he is extremely motivated. Alicia knows exactly what she's doing when she walks back into that courtroom in a very specific suit. Meanwhile, Damien is cooking votes at Lockhart Gardner, Kalinda goes undercover at an OBGYN, and Eli gets hit with a bombshell that makes Marilyn's baby drama look like small potatoes. One of the most fun episodes of the season — and one of the most revealing. 00:00 – We went live before we were ready — classic Good Pod chaos 03:15 – The Tricky Trick earworm and the iconic Good Wife cast dance video (link below, do not skip) 05:18 – Recap begins: Eli's spit take, Matthew Lillard as Roby, and a $2.3 million copyright case 20:43 – Alicia changes into THAT suit and Will completely loses his train of thought in court 36:09 – LG firm politics: Damien's schemes, quorum explained, and Diane brings whiskey to Will's office 56:59 – The bombshell ending: election fraud footage surfaces and Eli walks directly into chaos You have to see this. Elsbeth: Season 3, Episode 18 - Murder from Scratch

Elsbeth Season 3 is diving into trad wife culture in episode 18, Murder from Scratch, and the results are as crispy as homemade sourdough — and just as labor-intensive. When documentary filmmaker Audra films trad wife influencer Juliet (a scene-stealing Anna Camp) making a vegan dinner from scratch for her husband's boss, she catches something shocking on camera: lard. In a vegan dinner. What follows is a murder as convoluted as the lifestyle Juliet is selling, involving baking ammonia, bleach, a cleaning pod, and a hard drive hidden in a chicken coop by a kid named Deservedly. Meanwhile, the precinct faces a budget crisis that threatens to send Detective Buzz Fleming into retirement before he's ready — and Elsbeth, Wagner, and the gang aren't going down without a poker fight. 00:00 – Intro and housekeeping: 50 ratings milestone and listener review shoutout03:47 – Episode recap begins: the trad wife opening sequence with Juliet and filmmaker Audra10:23 – The lard reveal and how Juliet tries to silence Audra for good17:42 – Elsbeth and Smullen arrive at the crime scene; the Arnold Palmer clue28:58 – The B storyline kicks in: Commissioner Tully forces Buzz into retirement44:00 – Elsbeth finds the hard drive in the chicken coop; the butter churning scene54:52 – Poker night, Tully's cheating exposed, and Buzz gets to stay Enjoyed the episode?
