    Egg rates in India is suggested by NECC daily. NECC announces these prices every day on their official website. But how NECC decides these prices and how the egg rates in India are impacted by seasons, festivals and Avian Flu. There were many misconceptions surrounding the eggs and their consumption. Slowly NECC gave farmers enough confidence to work on their poultry trades. Even today, many households in India do not eat eggs and prefer other methods for their protein consumption. Some don't eat eggs due to religious reasons, while some don't eat them due to dietary restrictions. Although, doctors have advised that eggs are a safe food but still egg consumption in India is far behind countries like United States and Russia.
