Ep 81: Burn Your To-Do List: The Power of Getting "Illogical" to Overcome Decision Fatigue

Are you tired of constantly overthinking your next move, trying to calculate the "perfect" strategy to avoid failure?  For high achievers, entrepreneurs, and leaders, it is incredibly common to get trapped in your head, relying solely on logic, rigid checklists, and deadlines to force your business and life forward.  But operating strictly out of survival mode and decision paralysis only guarantees one thing: burning out. If you are exhausted from trudging through heavy choices and constantly judging your past decisions, it is time to shift your perspective. The true medicine for relentless doing is the courage to simply be, breaking out of your daily routine, tapping into your intuitive downloads, and opening yourself up to the path of least resistance.  In this episode:  The Starborn Archetype & Cosmic Play: How to step outside of the limited 3D paradigm, move beyond rigid logic, and play with cosmic possibility without needing to "earn" your place. Your Childlike Diagnostic Tool: A practical look at your soul's birth story and innate childhood desires to pinpoint exactly where you are abandoning your true self just to perform for others. Alignment vs. Giving Up: The critical difference between the path of least resistance and quitting, and how alignment allows heavy lifting to feel deeply meaningful and easeful. Plugging Your Energy Leaks: How to eliminate the burnout caused by decision paralysis and moral judgment so you can confidently respond to spirit's synchronicities in real-time.  Stop trying to solve your problems using the exact same system that created them; get out of your head, reconnect with your unique soul code, and allow your life and business to become truly magical.  Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher   About Emily: Emily is an energetic leadership coach, energy worker, and host of the Rise to Her podcast. Ep 80: Why Your "Peace-Protecting" Boundaries Are Actually Keeping You Isolated and Stuck

Everyone wants a village, but no one wants to be a villager. We have gone from one extreme to the other, using boundaries to protect our energy in a way that is completely cutting off our access to community.  The hyper-individualistic society we live in has conditioned us to believe that carrying all the stress, holding up the business, and doing everything alone is a badge of honor. But when you are constantly in protection mode, you block out the very gifts, resources, and support available to you through other people. What you might be calling "protecting your peace" is actually keeping you isolated, exhausted, and stuck.  In this episode, we talk about why trying to build your vision in a silo is a trap, and how shifting into the village archetype is the ultimate antidote to burnout.  We pulled the Village archetype this week. A reminder that we are communal creatures by nature. Reclaiming the village is how we actively dismantle patriarchal, capitalistic structures within our own lives. But receiving that level of support requires vulnerability. It requires you to step out of control mode, allow things to look a little lived in, and be willing to be inconvenienced for the sake of connection.  This conversation gets into why asking for help makes us feel weak, how to navigate the lingering resentment from the "villages" we grew up in, and the practical ways to start expanding your capacity by letting people in.  If you have been running your life and business entirely on empty, this is the episode.  In this episode:  What the Village archetype reveals about mutual aid, community, and dismantling individualistic conditioning Why hyper-independence and rigid boundaries might be the exact blocks keeping your growth stuck How patriarchal capitalism conditioned us to do it all alone and how to actively unlearn it Where you may be using control and perfectionism to push away helpful opportunities and support The real reason asking for help makes you feel weak and how to safely shift into receiving How to heal and alchemize resentment from your past or hometown "village" into profound resilience Why being a villager requires a willingness to be inconvenienced and how that expands your capacity True collaboration vs. competition: Overcoming the fear of seeing other business owners as threats How to use your voice and autonomy to advocate for your needs, even in the smallest ways  Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher     Links mentioned:  Join Rooted (7 days free, then $27/month): https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Follow Emily on Instagram: @risetoher

Ep 79: Rethinking Birth: What Birth Teaches Us About Business, Creativity, and Becoming

What if the way we talk about birth has been shaped more by systems of control than by trust, autonomy, and informed choice?  Many women have been taught there is a "right" way to give birth, build a family, and make decisions about their bodies. Over time, that conditioning can quietly disconnect us from our own intuition, replacing self-trust with perfectionism, fear, and the pressure to get everything "right."  In this conversation, veteran doula, childbirth educator, and founder of Nurture, Erica Manto-Paulson, shares how two decades of supporting women through birth has revealed something much bigger than labor itself. Birth becomes a powerful mirror for every transition we experience, from creating a family to building a business, healing from trauma, or bringing a new vision into the world.  This episode is an invitation to rethink what it means to trust yourself, embrace uncertainty, and honor your own path without shame or judgment.    In this episode:  • Erica explains what a doula really does, and why emotional, informational, and advocacy support dramatically improves birth experiences.  • The surprising parallels between giving birth to a child and birthing a business, creative project, or entirely new version of yourself.  • Why women don't need saving, and how witnessing, presence, and radical support create true empowerment.  • How birth systems, patriarchy, perfectionism, and cultural conditioning have shaped the choices women believe they're allowed to make.  • The importance of balancing evidence-based information with intuition when making life's biggest decisions.  • Why "trust birth" isn't always the most supportive message, and how honoring every birth experience creates more compassion and autonomy.  • How transition, discomfort, and self-doubt often appear right before our greatest breakthroughs in birth, business, and life.  Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul  ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted  Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course  Follow Emily on Instagram → @risetoher  About Erica:  Erica Arens is a veteran doula, childbirth educator, clinical hypnotherapist, and founder of Nurture in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ep 78: Stop Confusing Fear With Intuition: How to Trust the Signs

Have you been trying to control every detail of your business or life only to feel more stuck, exhausted, and uncertain?  The more you push for certainty, the more resistance tends to show up. Instead of clarity, you get overthinking. Instead of momentum, you get self-doubt. What once felt intuitive starts to feel clouded.  In this episode, we explore why forcing your way forward may actually be what is slowing you down and what it looks like to shift into real alignment.  This week’s archetype is The River, a reminder that life is always reflecting your internal world back to you. Your beliefs, expectations, and perceptions are constantly shaping your experience. Often the real block is not external, but your resistance to what is already unfolding.  You will learn how to recognize where you are creating unnecessary struggle, how to stop misreading fear as intuition, and how to move with more ease in your business, creativity, and next level expansion.  We also talk about why this season carries heightened creative energy, how to trust signs and synchronicities without needing total certainty, and why your next level requires more play and less perfection.  If you have been waiting to feel ready, this conversation is your permission to stop forcing and start flowing.  In this episode:  What The River archetype reveals about reflection, flow, and personal responsibility  Why your perception shapes your reality more than your circumstances  How confirmation bias keeps you stuck in repeating patterns  Where you may be unintentionally creating resistance in your business and life  Why overthinking opportunities blocks momentum and clarity  The difference between true intuition and external validation seeking  How to rebuild confidence using your own past evidence instead of fear  Why synchronicities show up more when you stop forcing outcomes  How to balance preparation with surrender as you grow into your next level  Practical journaling prompts to help you understand what life is reflecting back     Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher   About Emily: Emily is a leadership coach, energy worker, and host of the Rise to Her podcast. Ep 77: Finding the Gold in Your Broken Season: A Reading on Transitions

This week's energy reading pulled The Fault Line from The Wild Unknown Archetypes. Although this card appeared earlier in the year, its message has shifted. The energy is no longer pointing toward change. It speaks to a change that is already unfolding beneath the surface.  If you've been feeling unsettled, questioning your next move, or sensing that something in your business, career, or leadership can no longer continue as it has, this episode is for you. The Fault Line is a place archetype that reminds us the biggest shifts rarely happen overnight. They develop quietly over time until the moment they become impossible to ignore.  This episode explores why your nervous system often recognizes change before your mind can explain it, how chronic busyness can keep you disconnected from your intuition, and why delaying an important decision often creates more resistance than making one.  Emily also shares the deeper symbolism behind The Fault Line, the balance between structure and intuition, the Japanese practice of kintsugi, and practical ways to recognize the signs your body has been giving you all along.  If you've been feeling burned out, stuck between two paths, or carrying a decision you've been avoiding, this episode offers a compassionate reminder that your body holds valuable wisdom. Learning to trust those signals may be the first step toward building a business and life that feels more sustainable, aligned, and true to who you're becoming.    Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher   About Emily: Emily is an energetic leadership coach, energy worker, and host of the Rise to Her podcast. Ep 76: How to Use Desires to Rebuild Your Energy and Manifest Your Goals

This week's energy reading pulled Nectar from The Wild Unknown Archetypes, arriving during the peak light of the summer solstice. Nectar is a tool archetype. It represents restoration, desire, and the subtle forms of nourishment that sustain an ecosystem long after effort alone stops working.  If you've been carrying a vision, building a business, leading a team, or trying to hold everything together while chasing a goal that matters to you, this episode is for you. The Nectar card appeared at a moment in the seasonal cycle when everything is in bloom. The harvest hasn't arrived yet, but the energy required to get there has already been spent.  This episode explores why so many entrepreneurs and leaders have learned to distrust their desires, how hustle culture disconnects us from the body's intelligence, and why the senses may be one of the most overlooked tools available for decision making, creativity, and sustainable growth.  Emily also shares the deeper symbolism behind nectar, the role of support in building something meaningful, and a guided practice to help you identify what is genuinely nourishing you in this season of life.  If you've been feeling stretched thin, pushing harder without feeling restored, or wondering what would happen if you stopped overriding your needs, this episode offers a place to begin.  Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher   About Emily: Emily is an energetic leadership coach, energy worker, and host of the Rise to Her podcast. Ep 75: Good Girl to CEO | Chelsea Horton

So many of us spend years trying to be the version of ourselves that everyone else expects. We follow the rules, push through the anxiety, stay productive, and keep striving to be "good." Along the way, we can lose touch with our bodies, our emotions, and the parts of ourselves that once felt playful, creative, and fully alive. In this conversation, somatic coach and Healing Embodied founder Chelsey Horton shares her own journey from growing up in a shame-based religious environment to helping others reconnect with themselves through embodiment, nervous system healing, and emotional expression. This episode is an honest conversation about coming home to yourself, making space for every emotion, and reclaiming the parts of you that have been hidden by fear or conditioning. In this episode: • Chelsey's journey from worship leader to somatic coach and how deconstructing her beliefs changed her relationship with herself • Why anxiety is often a protective response instead of the problem itself • How creativity, movement, and embodiment can help process emotions that words cannot reach • The lasting impact of purity culture and "good girl" conditioning on women's relationship with their bodies • How expanding your capacity to feel grief, fear, and disappointment also creates space for deeper love, joy, and connection If you've ever felt disconnected from your body, struggled to trust yourself, or wondered why healing feels stuck, this conversation offers a thoughtful perspective on finding your way back to your own inner wisdom. Ep 74: How to stop “keeping the peace” and start speaking your unfiltered truth

You've been softening what you say publicly so people don't push back. You've been staying flexible in situations that stopped feeling okay a long time ago. You hit the goal and waited to feel relieved. You're still waiting, and the next thing is already pulling at your attention.  Emily Greenway is a burnout and stress coach for mission-driven entrepreneurs and creatives. She holds a master's in health behavior theory and blends behavioral science with spiritual and energetic practice.  This week Emily pulls Alethia, the Greek goddess of soul-level truth, and gets into why so many mission-driven people are exhausted from what they haven't said, not from how much they're doing. She talks about why your mission keeps coming out flat when you speak about it publicly, what it costs to keep having conversations you've already managed around for months, and how your body is holding all of it before your mind will admit it. She also leads a somatic ritual for feeling truth as a physical signal in your body so you can actually use it.      Resources + Links:  Soul Code Extraction → https://www.risetoher.com/soul ROOTED Membership → https://www.risetoher.com/rooted Burnout to Balance Free Mini-Course → https://www.risetoher.com/b2b-course Follow on Instagram → @risetoher   About Emily: Emily is an energetic leadership coach, energy worker, and host of the Rise to Her podcast.
