    113. When God Says “I’m Not Done”: Healing, Hope, and the Promise of a New Heart

There are seasons in life when grief feels overwhelming… when the pain lingers longer than you expected… and when you quietly wonder, “Why am I still here?” If you’ve ever felt stuck in your healing, discouraged by your progress, or weighed down by what you’ve lost—this episode is for you. In today’s episode, we take a deep, compassionate dive into Book of Jeremiah 31:15–40—a powerful passage that holds both raw grief and radical hope. You’ll hear the haunting image of Rachel weeping… but you’ll also discover the heart of a God who does not rush your pain, shame your weakness, or abandon you in your suffering. Instead, He meets you there. Together, we explore: What it means to grieve with God instead of rushing past it Why your healing may feel slow—and why that doesn’t mean you’re failing How to recognize and replace the lies that often attach themselves to grief The truth about God’s heart toward you in your most broken moments The promise of the New Covenant—and what it means for true, lasting heart transformation This episode is a gentle but powerful reminder: You are not behind. You are not too much. And God is not finished with your story. He is restoring. He is renewing. He is writing truth on your heart—even now. 🌿 Go Deeper ✨Read the companion blog for this episode When Grief Feels Too Heavy to Carry: What Jeremiah 31 Reveals About God’s Heart for the Broken where you can reflect more deeply and move at your own pace. 🤍 If you’re walking through something heavy and want personal support, I’d be honored to come alongside you. 110. When Deception Feels Normal: The Lie You Didn't Know You Were Living From

What if the reason you keep reacting the same way… isn’t because you lack self-control… …but because you’re believing something that isn’t true? Friend, this is a message that has been sitting heavy on my heart—because I see it every day in the counseling room, and if I’m honest, I’ve seen it in my own life too. In The Bible, Isaiah 44 gives us a sobering picture of deception—a man holding something in his hand that he believes will save him… and yet Scripture says: “He could not say, ‘Is there not a lie in my right hand?’” That line has stayed with me. Because so often, we’re not just reacting… we’re reacting from what we believe is true. In this episode, I’m walking you through: How hidden core beliefs shape your emotions, triggers, and relationship patterns Why the same reactions keep showing up (even when you want to change) How this connects to the Unhappy Kid Triangle (UHKT) and the roles we fall into What it actually looks like to begin renewing your mind with God’s truth (Romans 12:2) We’re not just talking about behavior change here. We’re going deeper—into the beliefs underneath it all. Because when deception feels normal… it takes truth to set you free. ✍️ Companion Blog (Read + Listen in One Place) I also wrote a companion blog post that focuses specifically on identifying the lies beneath your reactions and how to begin replacing them with truth: “The Lie Beneath the Reaction: How Hidden Beliefs Shape Your Emotions, Triggers, and Relationships.” If you’re someone who likes to process, journal, or sit with things more slowly, this will be a powerful next step for you. You can it read here 📥 A Free Resource for You If this episode stirred something deeper and you’re ready to begin releasing what you’ve been holding onto, I want to gift you my Letter of Release Guide. 109. Truth That Heals vs. Comfort That Keeps You Stuck

There is a kind of comfort that feels good in the moment… but quietly keeps you stuck. And if we’re not careful, we can start to prefer feeling better over actually being transformed. In this episode, I’m inviting you into a deeper, more honest conversation about why we resist truth—and how choosing comfort over truth can keep us trapped in painful patterns in our relationships, our thinking, and our emotional responses. We’re walking through Isaiah 30 and uncovering what it means when God’s people said, “Tell us pleasant things…”—and how that same tendency can show up in our lives today. I’m also sharing a powerful and much-needed teaching on admonishing and rebuking—what they actually mean biblically, how they fit within love and grace, and why avoiding them can keep us (and the people we love) stuck in cycles that never truly change. If you’ve ever: Avoided hard conversations to keep the peace Struggled to receive correction without becoming defensive Found yourself repeating the same relational patterns Or felt torn between being “kind” and being truthful This episode is for you. Because God is not asking you to live in illusion… He’s inviting you into truth that heals. 🌿 Read the Blog I wrote a companion blog for this episode where we go even deeper into this conversation from a different angle: 👉 “When Comfort Keeps You Stuck: Why We Resist the Truth That Heals” 🌿 Ready to Go Deeper? If you’re recognizing these patterns in your own life or relationships, you don’t have to navigate this alone. I offer: Biblical Counseling + Family Coaching The Happy Kid Toolkit + Reality Mat to help you and your family move from reactive patterns into truth, responsibility, and connection. You can learn more or book a session here ✨ Women’s Healing Retreats If your heart is longing for deeper healing, rest, and renewal… I host Renew & Restore Women’s Healing Retreats in beautiful, peaceful settings like: Joshua Tree, California The Tennessee Smoky Mountains These retreats are designed to help you slow down, process, and experience true transformation—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. 108. When Motherhood Feels Overwhelming: Learning to Trust God and Let Go of Control

Motherhood can feel overwhelming—especially when fear, anxiety, and the need to control begin to take over. In this episode, I’m sharing a very personal part of my story from my early days as a single mom—walking through the pain of divorce, the uncertainty of my children’s future, and the quiet fear that can creep in when life feels out of your control. I remember what it felt like to carry so much… and not know how everything would turn out. And as I sat with the Lord recently, He brought me to Psalm 105—not to give me a strategy, but to remind me of something I had forgotten: 👉 The power of remembering His faithfulness. Because when we forget who God is, we start carrying things that were never ours to hold. But when we remember… Everything begins to shift. In this episode, I’m gently walking you through: how fear can quietly drive our parenting why we move into control, striving, or overwhelm how to surrender what isn’t yours to carry and how to trust that God is still writing your child’s story—even when you can’t see it If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed as a mom… if you’ve been trying to hold everything together… I want you to know—you’re not alone in this. 🌿 Companion Blog (Read + Listen in One Place) If you want to slow down and reflect more deeply, I wrote a companion blog for this episode where you can read through the message and process it at your own pace: 👉 When Motherhood Feels Overwhelming: Learning to Trust God and Let Go of Control 💛 If You’re Ready to Go Deeper If this is something you’re walking through right now and you want support, I’d love to walk alongside you. ✨ You can book a biblical counseling or family coaching session with me where we’ll gently uncover what’s driving the overwhelm and help you move toward peace, clarity, and truth. ✨ The Happy Kid Toolkit is also a powerful resource I’ve created to help families grow in emotional regulation, responsibility, and healthy, Christ-centered communication. ✨ And if your heart is longing for a deeper reset, my Renew & Restore Women’s Healing Retreats are sacred spaces where women come to slow down, encounter God, and experience real healing and restoration. 🌱 For Teen Moms & Parents of Hurting Teens If you or your teen are in a hard season, I created something just for you: 💛 You can download my free devotional, “You’re Not Alone” (for Teens & Parents)—a 14-day guided journey to help teens process pain and begin healing, with a parent guide to walk alongside them. 🤍 Final Encouragement Friend… God has not forgotten you. And He has not forgotten your child. Even when it feels uncertain… even when you can’t see what He’s doing… 👉 He is still working. xoxo, Danielle

    107. Do I Look Like the World? From Reaction to Transformation (Part 2)

So what happens when you finally see it? You recognize the patterns. You notice the reactions. You realize: 👉 “I don’t want to keep showing up like this…” But then life happens again… And you find yourself right back in it. Reacting. Controlling. Shutting down. If that feels familiar… you’re not alone. And you’re not stuck. This is Part 2 of our two-part series: Do I Look Like the World? A Heart Check for Real Faith In Part 1, we slowed down and took an honest look at what our lives are actually revealing—especially in the moments that are hardest to control. But awareness is just the beginning. In this episode, we’re going deeper into: why we keep falling back into the same patterns what’s really driving our reactions under pressure and what it actually looks like to walk with the Holy Spirit in real time Because transformation doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from learning how to stay connected. To abide. To surrender. To walk with Him in the very moments you used to react. And this is where everything begins to shift. Want to go deeper? 👉 Read the companion blog: Do I Look Like the World? A Heart Check for Real Faith Slow down, reflect, and process what the Holy Spirit may be showing you. 👉 Share this episode with a friend So many women are quietly wrestling with these same patterns—you never know who needs this. 👉 Explore the Happy Kid Toolkit Practical, biblical tools to help you move from reaction to response in your everyday relationships. 👉 Learn more about my Women’s Healing Retreats If your heart is craving deeper healing, encounter, and connection—these retreats are a space where God meets you in powerful, life-changing ways. 👉 Book a Biblical Counseling or Coaching Session If you’re ready to go deeper personally, I would be honored to walk with you. You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re being invited… Closer. 💛 xoxo, Danielle

    106. Do I Look Like the World? A Heart Check for Real Faith (Part 1)

Have you ever had one of those quiet moments with the Lord… Where He gently asks you a question you can’t ignore? Not to shame you… but to invite you? That’s what happened to me this week. And the question that wouldn’t leave me was this: 👉 If someone really watched my life… would they see Jesus? Or would I look… just like the world? Not on Sunday… but in the everyday moments. In this first part of a two-part series, I’m inviting you into that same honest, Spirit-led reflection. We’re going to slow down and look at: what Scripture actually calls us to what our lives are truly revealing under pressure and the difference between behavior change and real transformation This isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness. It’s about alignment. It’s about letting the Holy Spirit gently show us what’s real. And if you start to see patterns in your own life… If you notice places where you’re reacting, controlling, or withdrawing… That’s not failure. That’s awareness. In Part 2, we’ll go deeper into why we keep falling back into these patterns—and what it actually looks like to live differently.   💛 Want to go deeper? If this stirred something in your heart… I don’t want you to just move on from it. I want to invite you into the next step. 👉 Read the companion blog: Do I Look Like the World? A Heart Check for Real Faith Sometimes it helps to slow down, sit with Scripture, and reflect more intentionally. This blog will walk you back through these questions and give you space to process what the Holy Spirit may be showing you. 👉 Share this episode with a friend So many women are quietly wrestling with this same question. You never know who might need this exact conversation today. 👉 Explore the Happy Kid Toolkit If you’re ready to move from awareness into action, this toolkit will help you understand your patterns—your thoughts, emotions, and reactions—and give you practical, biblical tools to respond differently in your real relationships. 👉 Learn more about my Women’s Healing Retreats If your heart is craving more than just information… if you’re longing for true encounter, healing, and connection—these retreats are a sacred space to step away from the noise and allow God to do deep, transformative work in your life. Women come in carrying heaviness and leave with clarity, peace, breakthrough, and renewed intimacy with the Lord. 👉 Book a Biblical Counseling or Coaching Session If you’re ready to go deeper personally, I would be honored to walk with you. Together, we’ll gently uncover what’s underneath your patterns and invite real, lasting transformation—not just behavior change. You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re being invited… Closer. 💛 xoxo, Danielle
