Investigating Gravelbourg EP05: Too many buildings, not enough investigations

The deeper I dig into Gravelbourg, the more locations seem to demand their own investigation. In this episode of What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg, I explore some of the places we haven't spent enough time with yet, including the Gaiety Theatre, St. Joseph's Hospital, the historic Bishop's Residence, and the former Monastery of the Precious Blood, now known as Heritage Place Bed & Breakfast. Along the way, I share the paranormal stories that have surfaced, the history behind these buildings, and the mysteries that still refuse to give up their answers. Some locations seem eager to share their stories. Others remain strangely quiet. But just when I think I'm running out of leads, I uncover something I wasn't expecting: a connection to a controversial secret society and an incident that may have left its mark on Gravelbourg's history. And that story will take us into our final episode.   🗺️ Explore the Interactive Investigation Map: https://kdkulpa.com/paraghoul-paranormal/investigating-gravelbourg/  📖 Join the investigation for free to receive episode updates, behind-the-scenes photos, exclusive research notes, and the What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg Field Guide when it's released. 👻 Have a story about the Gaiety Theatre, St. Joseph's Hospital, the Bishop's Residence, Heritage Place, or another Gravelbourg location? Investigating Gravelbourg EP04: The Eerie Quiet of College Mathieu

For a building that played such a major role in Gravelbourg's history, College Mathieu is surprisingly quiet. In this episode of What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg, I dig into the history of one of Saskatchewan's oldest French-language educational institutions. From its roots in the fight to preserve French education to fires, wartime buildings, and decades of community history, College Mathieu has no shortage of stories. What it does seem to be missing are ghost stories. Or does it? As I continue the investigation, I explore what I uncovered about the college, the few leads that have surfaced so far, and why some buildings seem to attract legends while others remain strangely silent.   🗺️ Explore the interactive investigation map: https://kdkulpa.com/paraghoul-paranormal/investigating-gravelbourg/ 📖 Join the investigation to receive updates, behind-the-scenes research, and the free What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg Field Guide when it's released. 👻 Have a story about College Mathieu or another location in Gravelbourg? Investigating Gravelbourg EP03: The investigation expands

After releasing my investigation of the Convent of Jesus and Mary, something unexpected happened. The stories kept coming. What began as a search for answers inside one of Gravelbourg's most famous landmarks is quickly growing into something much larger. Reports are now emerging from across town, including stories connected to the hospital, College Mathieu, the old monastery, the Gaiety Theatre, and private homes. In this episode of What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg, I share the latest leads, explore two new reports of unexplained activity in local homes, and begin asking a bigger question: Could the stories in Gravelbourg be connected to something larger than a single building?   🗺️ Explore the Interactive Investigation Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1gmptbIgGFlisDZCHYic6BtB25koYJn0&usp=sharing 📖 Join the investigation and receive the free Investigating Gravelbourg Field Guide when it's released: https://kdkulpa.com/paraghoul-paranormal/investigating-gravelbourg/ 👻 Have a story, photograph, document, or family connection to Gravelbourg? Investigating Gravelbourg EP02: Investigation of the Convent of Jesus and Mary

For more than a century, the Convent of Jesus and Mary has watched over Gravelbourg. Students whispered about footsteps on the fourth floor. Teachers reported hearing doors open and close after dark. Visitors claim to have seen a young boy wandering into the auditorium, only to vanish moments later. In this episode of What Haunts Saskatchewan: Investigating Gravelbourg, I investigate the history, legends, and reported hauntings of one of Saskatchewan's most famous paranormal locations. From the Spanish Flu era to our own walk through the abandoned convent, we'll examine what is known, what remains unexplained, and whether the old building still holds onto the people who spent their lives within its walls.   Join me as we continue investigating Gravelbourg...   🗺️ Explore the interactive map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1gmptbIgGFlisDZCHYic6BtB25koYJn0&usp=sharing  📧 Join the investigation for episode updates, exclusive photos, map additions, and early access to the Gravelbourg Paranormal Field Guide: https://kdkulpa.com/paraghoul-paranormal/investigating-gravelbourg/  👻 Have a paranormal or unexplained experience connected to Gravelbourg? Investigating Gravelbourg EP01: Introducing Gravelbourg

Season 3 or ParaGhoul Paranormal begins with a new format. Welcome to What Haunts Saskatchewan? Investigating Gravelbourg, a season-long paranormal investigation that follows the stories, history, and unexplained experiences connected to one of Saskatchewan's most fascinating communities. Most people know Gravelbourg for the ghost stories surrounding the Convent of Jesus and Mary. But after a personal experience in another historic building during a family visit, I started wondering whether the convent is only part of the story. In this first episode, we'll explore the history of Gravelbourg, how the town was founded, and the experience that inspired me to return and investigate further. Along the way, I'll share why this season is different from previous seasons of ParaGhoul Paranormal and the questions I'm hoping to answer as the investigation unfolds.  Is the convent really the only haunted place in town? Or is there something more going on in this little piece of Europe on the prairies?  🗺️ Explore the interactive map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1gmptbIgGFlisDZCHYic6BtB25koYJn0&usp=sharing 📧 Join the investigation for episode updates, exclusive photos, map additions, and early access to the Gravelbourg Paranormal Field Guide: https://kdkulpa.com/paraghoul-paranormal/investigating-gravelbourg/ 👻 Have a paranormal or unexplained experience connected to Gravelbourg? Canadian Legends + Monsters: The Kingston Park Built on 10,000 Graves

In this episode of ParaGhoul Paranormal: Discoveries from the Dark, I explore the unsettling history of Skeleton Park in Kingston, Ontario. Today it looks like a peaceful green space, but beneath the grass lies the former Upper Burial Ground, a cemetery where as many as 10,000 people may still be buried. First established in the early 1800s as the Garrison Burying Ground, the cemetery expanded as Kingston grew, eventually holding soldiers, local residents, and immigrants who died during devastating outbreaks of cholera, typhus, and malaria. By the 1850s the burial ground had reached capacity, and by the 1890s the neglected cemetery was converted into a city park. While some remains were relocated, thousands were left behind, with headstones flattened and soil placed over the graves. Over the years, frost heaving and construction work have occasionally uncovered bones, helping the park earn its lasting nickname: Skeleton Park. With so many graves beneath the surface, it is perhaps no surprise that the area is also said to be haunted. Visitors have reported ghostly women wandering the park, children appearing and disappearing, strange mists, whispers, and the feeling of being watched.
