    Making friends in your 30s sucks. But it's so worth it. In this episode I'm keeping it all the way real about something I've been sitting with — why building genuine community in your 30s is so hard, why so many of us have been avoiding it, and why we can't afford to keep doing that.   We're talking about the rotten apple in your friend group (you know who it is). We're talking about why one friend cannot be your everything. We're talking about social anxiety from not being social, the difference between friendships with longevity vs friendships with honesty, and why associates are actually underrated and we need to bring them back.   And here's the frame that hit me: your friends are your insurance policy. When everything falls apart — and at some point it will — are you going to have somebody in your corner? Or is it just gonna be you and Lil Cujo?   This one is for the woman who keeps saying she doesn't need anybody. I see you. But the moment somebody asks us for something, we give it away. For free.     You're not an introvert. You're just tired of being f***ed over. In this episode I'm breaking down the three real reasons I hid behind that label: I didn't trust people. It wasn't about needing to recharge — I just didn't trust that a new connection wouldn't cost me something. I was struggling mentally. There were seasons when I was going through a deep depression and didn't even fully realize it. "Introvert" let me disappear without anyone asking questions. I was just too comfortable. One or two friends, everything familiar, nothing new. Why add more people to the pot? Except — you can't count on one or two people to be your everything. And then at the very end I finally looked up the actual definition of introvert. And I want you to hear it — and then ask yourself if it actually applies to you.

    I was taught to stay quiet. Then I turned 30.  In this episode, I'm getting honest about something I've never fully said out loud — I was not set up to be in this space. I grew up in an environment where women didn't speak up. Not in public, anyway. You saved face. You expressed yourself behind closed doors, only to people you trusted, only when it was safe. And by the time I ever saw a woman speak up, it was through anger. Loud, unclear, and going nowhere.   And I want to leave you with this: you don't need a platform for your voice to be heard.
