Episode 44: Becoming the woman who is taken care of

In today’s episode, Sana opens up a powerful conversation about how generations of women have been taught to wear their pain as a badge of honor. She reflects on familiar voices from our childhood—mothers, grandmothers—who shared stories of sacrifice with quiet pride, shaping what strength was supposed to look like. But what happens when you’re the one who chooses differently? Sana gently unpacks the courage it takes to step away from that narrative, to choose yourself, your time, and your presence with loved ones—not out of obligation, but intention. This episode is an honest, thought-provoking dive into unlearning deeply rooted beliefs and redefining what power truly means. .If this resonated with you and you’d like to support other moms while building something meaningful, check out Sana’s Holistic Parenting Coach Training (HPCT)—a program designed to help you become a parenting coach and grow your own coaching platform. Episode 43: Raising our Children Right

In this episode, I open up about what it truly means to raise our children with ihsaan and the deeper purpose behind Islamic tarbiyah. So often, parenting advice focuses on communication and connection — but I share why that’s only part of the story. We will be talking about viewing tarbiyah through a bird’s-eye lens, nurturing every part of a child’s growth while staying grounded in the balance between deen and dunya. We will also reflect on how we, as mothers, need to stay centered and nourished ourselves in order to guide our children with love, confidence, and clarity. If this conversation resonates with you, I also share more about my Holistic Tarbiyah Academy (HTA) — a faith-centered space where I support mothers in raising their children with structure, purpose, and ihsaan. 🌿 Early bird enrollments are now open, offering a special discount for those who want to begin this transformative journey before the next cohort launches after Ramadan. If you’ve ever felt that parenting is about more than routines and strategies — and you’re ready to explore what holistic tarbiyah truly looks like — this episode is for you. . Episode 41: Fixing kids’ Big Emotions

As mothers, our first instinct when our child cries or melts down is to fix the problem — to soothe, distract, or offer quick solutions. But what if that’s not what our children really need? In this episode of Jannah Beneath Her Feet, we explore a profound yet simple parenting shift: becoming a container for your child’s emotions. Drawing from the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and modern psychology, we’ll look at why children don’t actually need us to “solve” their problems, but rather to hold space for the big emotions they can’t yet carry alone. You’ll learn: Why dismissing or rushing to fix a problem leaves your child feeling unseen How the Prophet ﷺ comforted young Abu Umair when his pet sparrow died — a timeless example of emotional presence The importance of naming and validating your child’s feelings before moving to solutions How your own emotional habits mirror into your parenting — and why self-work is key to raising emotionally intelligent children And because tarbiyah always starts with the mother, I also share how we dive deep into these topics inside the Holistic Tarbiyah Academy — my four-month mentorship program designed to help Muslim mothers heal, regulate, and thrive in their motherhood while laying strong Islamic foundations for their children. Enrollment for our October batch is now open. Episode 40: Distracted by phone or choosing to get distracted?

“Am I really procrastinating — or am I actually avoiding?” Have you ever found yourself scrolling your phone instead of cooking — only to suddenly jump into the kitchen the moment your child asks you to play? On the outside, it looks like procrastination. But often, it’s actually something deeper. In today’s episode, we’ll explore why this happens. Sometimes it’s simple distraction. Other times, it’s avoidance — a way our minds protect us when we’re overwhelmed. We’ll also talk about how old wounds from our own childhood can affect the way we respond to our kids, and why half-listening or reacting quickly doesn’t give the connection that our children really need. Mama, the answer isn’t just to hide your phone or try harder. Real, lasting change comes from slowing down, healing, and learning to regulate your emotions — so you can respond with presence and compassion. If this is what your heart is calling for, enrollments for the October batch of Holistic Tarbiyah Academy are now open. This is where I help mothers like you create calmer homes, parent with Ihsan, and raise emotionally healthy children, InshaAllah. 🎧 Press play, and let’s unpack this together. — Enroll for October Batch: https://www.toddlertarbiyah.com/holistictarbiyahacademy — Connect with Me! 🔗Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/toddlertarbiyah/ 🔗Go deeper with Sana’s course - Parenting like the Prophets https://www.toddlertarbiyah.com/parentingliketheprophets 🔗Sign up for Sana’s weekly Email Newsletter https://www.toddlertarbiyah.com/email-subscribe
