I Need A Mic

Rachel Davis

I lost my younger sister in the year of 2021 to suicide. From that day on I said to myself I am talking about the issues that deferred my generation and other generations down dark paths to never seeking help or guidance from love ones we care so much about them.

I Need A Mic Podcast Ep: I Need A Mic Vlog Series Introduction

🎙️ I NEED A MIC PODCAST IS BACK 🎙️ The mic is live. The stories are flowing. The journey continues. I'm stepping back into the conversation with new episodes, fresh perspectives, powerful poetry, and the kind of honest dialogue that connects us all. No filters. No masks. If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. 🎧 Press play. 🎤 Turn up the volume. ✨ Join the conversation. 🖤 Experience the journey. New episodes are here, and there's so much more on the way. Subscribe, follow, and stay connected on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Hey friends and family, I hope you’re all doing well! As many of you know, I’ve been working hard to grow and improve the I Need A Mic Platform — a space dedicated to creativity, expression, and connection. To keep things moving forward and continue producing high-quality content, I’m looking to upgrade some of my equipment. If you’d like to support the platform, I’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist that includes items that would make a big difference in helping me sound and look more professional. You can check it out and see exactly what I have in mind. There’s absolutely no pressure or expectation to contribute — your encouragement and support already mean the world to me. But if you’re able and would like to help, purchasing something from the wishlist would be an amazing way to directly invest in the platform’s growth and future. Thank you all for believing in what I’m building. Every bit of support, whether it’s sharing the platform, offering feedback, or helping with equipment, truly makes a difference. With gratitude, Ray Davis Founder of I Need A Mic Platform 🎙️ https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/X573VY0L6EW6?ref_=wl_share

Journaling Daily reflection questions: What felt heavy today? What energized me? What old patterns showed up again? Past review: Go back over old journal entries and notice what cycles repeat. 2. Mindful Pausing Set aside 5–10 minutes daily to simply sit, breathe, and notice your thoughts without judgment. Ask yourself: What is surfacing from my past that still needs attention? 3. Mirror Work Look at yourself in the mirror and gently say affirmations or ask: What am I avoiding? What part of me needs compassion today? 4. Reassessing Relationships Retrograde times are symbolic “checkpoints.” Reflect on: Who supports my growth? Who drains me? What boundaries need strengthening? 5. Creative Reflection Write a creative fantasy poem, letter, or story. Mark key turning points and notice what lessons still echo. 6. Meditation for Integration Sit quietly and bring to mind a past event you often revisit. Instead of reliving it, ask: What did this experience teach me? What part of me is still carrying it? 7. Letter Writing Write an unsent letter to your past self, to someone you’ve lost connection with, or to a part of you that feels stuck. Focus on forgiveness and release. Don’t treat reflection as “fixing yourself.” It’s more about listening deeply to where you are, honoring what resurfaces, and deciding gently what to carry forward.
