Use this Messaging Strategy for when you have “nothing” to post | ep 47

This mini content creation episode is going to be for anybody who has really envied the person where anytime something happens in their life, they turn it into really good content. You're just like, "How is it that you had a home renovation and now you have 20 pieces of content?" Or, "How were you able to go to the grocery store and now you have a carousel that, like, 100 people are sharing?" You're someone who has a bright personality. You talk to strangers, you talk to Uber drivers, you take vacations sometimes. You know, you're doing the things. You're living in your life full send. You're cooking, you have hobbies, you have friends, you have a family. You have so much material in your life, and you know you can be creating more content.  But what you're struggling with is how do you go from something that happened to a piece of content that connects to your brand and your business and gets other people to wanna interact with that content? So we have a very specific episode today where I'm gonna show you exactly how to do that. So I'm gonna be giving you, like, a little bit more of a social media marketing formula. So I know a lot of you guys are listening to me when you're in the shower or you're on carpool duty or whatever. But if you're listening to me and you're in a space where you can pull out your phone with the notes app, or you can pull out a notebook, this would definitely be the episode to do so. But if you're in the car, it's gonna be honestly such a quick episode. So listen to it, and then if you're like, "Oh my gosh, I resonate with this so much," you can go through it later again and use it as a workshop. So let's just dig right into it. In this episode, we break down"  → Turn everyday moments into strategic content → Connect what happens in your life back to your brand messaging → Use your messaging strategy to make content creation easier → Build content pillars from your brand POV statements → Create content that connects back to your business instead of just posting something because it's cute → Use content strategy to turn one story into multiple pieces of content → Repurpose stories across social media marketing platforms → Create content without waiting for the “perfect” idea or experience The biggest thing I want you to take away from this episode is that you don't need a more interesting life. You need to get better at connecting what's already happening in your life to what you believe, what you sell, and what your audience needs to hear. That's where your brand messaging comes in. When you're clear on your messaging strategy, you don't have to sit down and force yourself to come up with 30 random content ideas. You can look at what's happening around you and start seeing the connections. And suddenly, content creation gets a whole lot easier. If you're a founder scaling your business and you know you have so much material to work with but you're struggling to turn your experiences, expertise, and ideas into content that connects with your audience, this episode is for you. And if you're realizing you don't actually have clear brand POV statements yet… we should absolutely work together. Reach out to me at @mywritehandwoman on Instagram or head to mywritehandwoman.com to get a feel for where you're at with your brand messaging and figure out the best way for us to work together. And if you really enjoyed this episode — if you were like, "Wow, this was a master class in 10 minutes" — I would so appreciate it if you subscribe to the podcast or leave me a review or rating. It really, really helps the show grow and allows me to bring you more episodes like this one. Until then, guys, stay magical, and I'll see you next week. Can you be too bold in your Brand Messaging?| ep 46

Everyone keeps telling you to "be bolder" in your marketing. But what if that's actually the wrong advice? I hear it all the time: be more controversial, be more provocative, be louder if you want people to notice you. But here's what I want to challenge in this episode: you absolutely can be too bold in your messaging. If you've ever worried that standing out means losing the heart of your brand, this conversation is for you. I recently had a conversation with a business owner who told me she didn't want to become "too bold" because she had built such an empathetic brand—and honestly? I loved that she said it. It sparked a conversation I think more entrepreneurs need to be having. Because the goal isn't to become the loudest person online. The goal is to become the most intentional. In this episode, I'm unpacking what "too bold" actually looks like, why so much marketing advice lacks nuance, and how you can create messaging that stands out without pushing away the very people you're trying to serve. Inside this episode, we're talking about: Why you really can be too bold in your brand messagingThe difference between provocative marketing and intentional messagingHow brands accidentally lose themselves while trying to stand outWhy nuance is one of the most underrated marketing strategiesThe hidden cost of chasing viral hooks and controversial opinionsHow to attract ideal clients without turning your brand into someone it isn'tWhy I believe bold should be the reward—not the goal—of great messagingIf you're building a personal brand, running a service-based business, or trying to differentiate yourself in a crowded market, I hope this episode gives you permission to stop performing and start communicating with intention. If this conversation resonates with you, I'd love for you to share this episode with another business owner who's been told they need to be "bolder." Then come tell me what you think over on Instagram @mywritehandwoman (write spelled like writing)  Or, if you're ready to build messaging that's memorable because it's aligned, head to my website and inquire about working together. Let's fix your Brand Messaging and increase your Sales in 30 minutes | ep 44

Before you go rewriting your entire website, hear me out: your messaging probably isn't bad. It's probably just blending in. Today I am breaking down exactly what I would do if I had just 30 minutes to fix your messaging. We're talking about the tiny tweaks that create massive shifts in how people see your brand, connect with your offers, and most importantly—buy. If you've been posting consistently, refining your offers, and wondering why your dream clients still aren't moving, this episode is your messaging intervention. In This Episode, We Cover:  Why "bad messaging" is usually just medium messaging  The one sentence that can make or break your entire brand  How to create a business one-liner that actually makes people say, "Tell me more"  The biggest differentiation mistakes keeping you stuck in the sea of sameness  Why "I'm strategic" and "I get results" aren't enough anymore  How to uncover your true unicorn factor and stand out in your market  The messaging shifts that help increase sales without constantly creating more content  Why your offer should feel desirable, not like homework  The subtle ways you're watering down your sales copywriting without realizing it  How to stop hedging, overexplaining, and hiding behind jargon  Creating stronger emotional stakes that move people into action  Reducing friction in your customer journey to support high ticket sales  The overlooked proof elements that build trust and accelerate buying decisions  Why memorable brand messaging beats complicated marketing strategies every time Key Takeaways ✨ Clear messaging creates momentum. ✨ Differentiation is not "I'm authentic" or "I care about my clients." ✨ Great sales copywriting isn't about sounding smarter—it's about being more specific. ✨ If people can't quickly understand why you're different, they'll compare you to everyone else. ✨ Strong brand messaging makes people move. ✨ Your clients are already giving you the best copy you'll ever write—start listening. ✨ The easiest way to increase sales is often fixing the messaging, not creating another offer. Memorable Quote "Tell me what you're the best in the world at. Tell me what you're the only in the world at. Brag to me."Your Messaging Audit Challenge After listening, go back through your website, sales pages, Instagram bio, and offer descriptions and ask yourself:  Is my messaging clear?  Is it differentiated?  Does it sound like me?  Am I explaining transformation or just process?  Am I making people work too hard to understand what I do?  Would someone immediately know why they should choose me? If not, you know where to start. If this episode had you nodding aggressively and thinking, "Yep, this is exactly what's wrong with my messaging," let's fix it. In a Brand Messaging VIP Day, we'll build the foundational messaging that powers your website, content, offers, sales process, and client attraction strategy—from your one-liner and founder story to your differentiation, brand voice, and messaging ecosystem. 43: The business lessons I didn't expect to learn working abroad in Australia

Last month I went to Australia and essentially took a workation. Which sounds glamorous until you realize the Australia-to-US time difference is absolutely unhinged. I was working ridiculous hours, trying to balance client work, running my business, and exploring an entirely different continent at the same time. And while this episode isn't really about messaging (I know, I know), it is about something every entrepreneur struggles with: productivity, prioritization, creativity, and building a business that actually supports your life. Australia ended up teaching me a lot more than I expected. From letting go of consistency, to getting ruthless with my calendar, to realizing that your life isn't a reward for success, these are the biggest lessons I learned from a month of running my business halfway across the world. Whether you're dreaming about taking a workation yourself or you never plan on leaving your home office, I think these takeaways will change the way you think about work, freedom, and what it really means to build a business on your own terms. Basically, Australia gave me a lot of feelings and now you're getting a podcast episode about them. In This Episode: 🦄 Why consistency is kind of a myth (and what I focus on instead) 🦄 The unexpected freedom that came from having almost zero overlap with US business hours 🦄 Why I think I'm officially done with coffee chats 🦄 The productivity lesson hidden inside having less time 🦄 Why your life should grow alongside your business—not after it 🦄 How being in a completely different time zone became the best anti-anxiety exercise I've ever done 🦄 Why novelty, adventure, and weird experiences create better business ideas than another perfectly optimized morning routine And if you're sitting there thinking, "Lucy, I want a business that feels as differentiated as the life I'm trying to build," send me a DM on Instagram @mywritehandwoman Or ask me about Unicorn Messaging Because if we're going to build businesses nobody's ever seen before, we might as well build lives nobody's ever seen before too. 42: 5 sneaky signs your Brand Messaging maybe...bad?

Is your copy bad? And honestly… what even is bad copy? Bad copy can be boring copy. Bad copy can be copy that nobody understands. It can be copy that’s too far above your ideal client’s head, or copy that doesn’t even fit the offer you’re selling. There are so many reasons copy can feel “bad,” but in this episode of Unicorn Messaging, I wanted to focus on the less obvious signs your messaging might actually be unclear. Because most of us are already asking ourselves:  “Does this make sense?”  “Is this clear?”  “Am I explaining this the right way?” And yes, there are obvious signs your copy isn’t working. Like when people tell you they have no idea what you do. But there are also a lot of sneaky signs your messaging is missing the mark — signs that can actually look like success on the surface. So in this episode, I’m walking you through 5 unexpected ways to tell if your copy isn’t converting the way it should be. In this episode, I talk about:  Why engagement doesn’t always equal conversions  The difference between being “a vibe” and having clear messaging  How unclear sales copy affects your launches and content strategy  Why posting feels so hard when your brand messaging isn’t locked in  The hidden clue referrals can give you about your copy  How strong sales copy makes content creation easier  Why your audience shouldn’t need a sales call to understand your offer  The role clarity plays in conversion copywriting and online sales This episode is for you if:  Your content gets engagement but not sales  You feel like people like you but don’t buy from you  You struggle to explain what you do clearly  Your launches feel exhausting every single time  You want stronger brand messaging and copy that converts  You’re a female founder trying to stand out online without sounding like everyone else And if this episode helped you think differently about your brand voice, messaging, or sales copy, I’d love if you left a review for Unicorn Messaging. It helps more people find the show and helps me keep creating free content like this for you. 40: If you’re not the obvious choice yet (it’s your positioning strategy)

In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the most overused (and honestly misunderstood) words in online business: positioning. Because if you want to scale your business, refine your messaging, strengthen your brand voice, and actually make high ticket sales feel easy, this is the work. Because I know you are putting in the work.  I know you keep investing in coaching and you're just like, I don't know why my offer is just not clicking. I've gone into my feminine, I've done the mindset work, I've rearranged my offers, I've done all the things, and you're still having a hard time getting that fast sale that people find you.   Positioning is going to be the thing that probably solves your woes. So, today we are diving into:  What positioning actually is (in real, non-academia language) Why positioning is often the thing holding you back The difference between “mirror work” and actual strategy Why your messaging might feel clear to you… but not to the market How weak positioning keeps you stuck in slow sales cycles Why you can’t just decide you’re “premium” and expect people to buy How to create demand instead of competing with everyone else The Part That Might Sting (But You Need It) You can’t journal your way into powerful positioning.  You can’t mindset your way into consistent high ticket sales. I love mindset work. I do it every day.  But this? This is strategy. This is looking at the landscape, seeing where there’s space, and claiming it with your messaging and your brand voice. 💌 Want Help With This? This is literally what I do. When you work with me (especially inside a VIP day), we don’t just “make your messaging sound better.”  We wil: Lock in your positioning Find your competitive edge Build messaging that actually converts So if this episode hit and you’re like, “oh… this is the gap”  DM me on Instagram: @mywritehandwoman If This Helped You… If this episode gave you a little mindset shift (or a full identity crisis, honestly): Leave a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on Spotify Drop a review on Apple Podcasts It helps me grow the show and keep breaking down the things that actually move your business forward.
