    Season 3 - Episode 12 - What's on YOUR Mind?

Send us Fan Mail This is Season 3 - Episode 12, “What’s On YOUR Mind”, and we welcome you to the podcast. In doing this podcast, we have tried to stay away from topics that you can see on ESPN or MLB Network or even your local news cast. We have tried to be a little different at times. It gets a little hard we've produced 75 podcast now and sometimes we do need to look back.  The Uecker Line For instance it is still a dilemma in the game with batting averages. At this point in this season, we have completed approximately 60 games for most teams. Can you imagine that the leaders and I hate to use that term leader but Manny Machado leads the major leagues in the worst average for a regular player he has 238 at bats and he's batting .172 holy cow .172! Manny Machado it's not just that it's on base percentage is pitiful. It's slugging is pitiful who's number 2 on this list, Dansby Swanson of the Cubs is hitting .178 holy cow, Evan Carter of the Texas Rangers .178, Cedric Mullins of the Tampa Bay Rays .189, Nolan Gorman 3B from the Cardinals is hitting .194, Adolis Garcia of the Phillies has played 67 games and is hitting .195, Salvador Perez of the Royals has played 63 games with 244 at bat and he still hitting .197 holy cow, and there's a slew of players hitting under .210.  Now, there was a VERY colorful character who  passed away January 16, 2025, at the age of 90, and that was Bob Uecker. We dedicated a podcast to Bob Uecker asking for sportscasters and baseball people to make a change, in respect to Bob Uecker. Yes, I’m talking about the Uecker Line!  Join us for more... 2. Season 3 - Episode 9 - The First 30

    Season 3 - Episode 9 - The First 30

Send us Fan Mail In our 9th episode of Season 3, we will talk about the first 30 days of the season. Is it too early too panic for some teams? We have had a pretty exciting start of the season. Where do we begin? Let's start with reviewing the standings any surprises what about your team? Well, starting with the American League East it's been pretty competitive and I don't think there has been a lot of surprise. Baltimore has started off much better than last year. Obviously, we all know about the Red Sox and their shit play the Blue Jays aren't looking so great right now the team that always surprises me is the Tampa Bay rays. They stay competitive it is a shame that they do not have a fan base that appreciates that tenacity the Yankees very surprising pitching very surprising, but they still have a shit bullpen and it's being hidden by the pitching and timely hitting at this point, their bullpen is just about as bad as last year, but with different names. Would it surprise you if you didn't realize the Yankees on number one in the major leagues in ERA for their starting pitches they're at 2.74 earned run average the Dodgers, a second with a 2.83 the Braves a third with a 3.04 the guardians with a 3.43 and then the top five of the best team ERA is the Tampa Bay Rays at number five at 3.45 so right there you get to realize why the raise are playing so much better and all those other team.  Join us for MORE...
