    Richard O. Cowan was a BYU Professor who wrote many articles about the relationship between Temples through out the ages. In our day, we cannot fully understand the nature of the ordinances and covenants made in any of the Lord's Holy Houses without a study of how and why these covenants were made anciently. Everything, even including the building of these structures have been received by revelation, showing God's will in all things. Patterns continually repeat themselves and it is no different when it comes to Temples. In this article Brother Cowan, cites the many evidences that temples existed in every dispensation in one form or another. Everything in the temples today directly correlate with Moses' Tabernacle, King Solomon's Temple, and many more. A study of the past, helps us to understand our responsibility in the present, thus giving us more opportunity in our day to realize the great endowment of power that we have been given.     In 1847, a mighty miracle occurred where a newspaper from England arrived in Logan, Utah, 3 days later. The result was that many Ballard ancestors were able to receive their temple ordinances. While this miracle is well known, there were other miracles experienced by the saints in England during this same timeframe. In this episode, we review the initial miracle, and then speak with Colin Williams who researched the experiences of the saints who decided to stay in Thatcham, England while their friends and families left to be with the Saints in Nauvoo and beyond. In studying the lives of the faithful saints left behind, Colin found their stories to be inspiring and uplifting.  Colin and his friend, Rachel Guy, take us on a tour of the very cemetery that was mentioned in The Newbury News article by the "Wanderer".  Truly, the Lord is merciful in His caring about the one. Each of us can bear testimony of the love that is offered as we choose to be continually gathered. It may not be as big as the Logan Temple miracle, but it is just as miraculous none the less.     On March 6th, the first ever Gathering of the Gatherers occurred in Bountiful, Utah. Fellow gatherers came from near and far to meet with each other, draw strength from one another's testimony, and celebrate the work of the Gathering of Israel. In this episode Tia will recap the events of that night, and her impressions of why the Lord wanted this particular Gathering to take place. She will also read a miraculous Thinning of the Veil story about a women who survived being shot because of the role she is playing of savior with a little s, for her family on the other side of the veil. Many miracles took place for this dear sister, because she is a Gatherer. This particular Gathering event was a culmination of many small miracles which will lead to many mighty ones in the future.     Sometimes when doing genealogical research, we get spiritual promptings to take a certain class, look in a certain place, or focus on one family in particular. Colette in this episode describes her revelatory process that began with a simple thought that lead her to attending a class at Roots Tech. That class lead her to other sources including a New Zealand Newspaper site called Papers Past. She uses Papers Past, Family Search, and Ancestry to show the process of taking one step at a time in navigating  finding lost families. It is always helping when searching out one's ancestor's, to begin with a prayer, pay special attention to spiritual impressions, and be willing to follow that guidance wherever it takes you. Trusting the Lord, in the end will produce mighty miracles and build a stronger testimony of the Spirit of Elijah.     Rosalie found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Australia when she was 18. As she learned the doctrines of the gospel, her love for her ancestors grew exponentially and her desire to gather her family to the temple become a life long pursuit. Rosalie was gifted with many revelatory gifts that helped in gathering her family on both sides of the veil. As the matriarch of her family, Rosalie set the example for her daughters to seek for and obtain revelation in many different ways...helping save fathers, mothers, and children who had been lost for generations. In her service of saving her family she has found increased spiritual revelatory gifts, increased priesthood power in her own life, and more connection with her husband who is now on the other side of the veil.     Mandy Crane was raised in a small town in Australia, in a family where spiritual gifts were the norm not the exception. Her mother, Rosalie, talked extensively at the dinner table about dreams, miracles and visits from the other side of the veil while she Gathered Israel. This encouragement helped Mandy to understand her own spiritual gifts and gave her the desire to help her ancestors in her own way. Through the years, Mandy has experienced the same help from beyond the veil in many ways including dreams, promptings, and other revelatory gifts. Using these gifts have resulted in many ancestors, including many lost children, being found and reunited with their families on the other side of the veil.
