    Jesus and the Gates of Hades: What Most Churches Won't Tell You EP 3

    Transfiguration, Why did Jesus take His disciples north into pagan territory, stand near a cave associated with the underworld, and declare that the “gates of Hades” would not prevail? That location may matter far more than most Christians realize. In Episode 3 of **The Revealed One**, we follow Jesus across the actual geography of the Gospels and examine what happens when the story is read against the biblical world of nations, powers, Bashan, Mount Hermon, Caesarea Philippi and the seventy. We begin with the Table of Nations in Genesis 10, Babel and Deuteronomy 32. Then Jesus crosses the Sea of Galilee into Gentile territory to confront Legion among the tombs. From there He moves toward Tyre and Sidon, where a Canaanite mother refuses to stop asking for her daughter. Then He takes His disciples north. Caesarea Philippi. The sanctuary of Pan. The massive cave associated with the realm of the dead. Mount Hermon towering above it. And there Peter declares: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answers with one of the most debated statements in the New Testament: “The gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Was Jesus simply teaching about the church? Or was the location itself part of the message?     Why Jesus Never Disputed Satan's Claim to the World | The Revealed One EP2

    Satan offered Jesus every kingdom in the world. But there is a strange detail in the temptation account that most people read right past. Jesus never told Satan the kingdoms were not his to give. In Luke 4, Satan says the authority of the kingdoms of the world had been “delivered” to him and that he could give it to whomever he chose. Jesus rejected the offer, refused to worship him, and quoted Scripture. But He never disputed the claim. Why? In Episode 2 of The Revealed One, we examine the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness and the much larger biblical story behind Satan’s offer.     The Incarnation: Why It’s More Than Just a Story

    What does the incarnation of Jesus Christ actually mean? John 1:14 says, “the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” But the Greek word John chose for “dwelt” carries a much more vivid image: He pitched His tent among us. He tabernacled with us. That changes how we read the entire passage. In this Sunday Seeds episode, we trace John’s words back through the Tabernacle, Moses, the glory of God in Exodus, Bethlehem, and the early Christian battle over whether Jesus Christ truly came in the flesh. Bennett and Laura examine the biblical warnings about greed and ask what separates healthy prosperity from covetousness and idolatry.
