    Feng Shui For Fertility…

    Hello & Welcome to the Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui and other Woo! My name is Laura Beatriz Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady. Today I am back talking about Feng Shui For Baby! You’re probably wondering how does it work? What else would it be good for? Why would I do Feng Shui when there’s IVF? Also what does my house have to do with my fertility? These are all good questions so let’s talk about it. Feng Shui for Baby works in layers. Where it comes to Fertility your general health, your reproductive organs, your nervous system and mental state of mind all contribute to your fertility outcome. So does your sex life so there’s a number of layers right there. From a Feng Shui perspective all of these layers are mirrored somewhere in your home. You can actually look at your physical environment as a Living Breathing 3 D Vision Board. There’s an area of your home that represents your Children & Creativity, and an area that represents your Health and an area that represents Family and even an area that represents your Love life! So many layers and they are reflected all around you in your physical environment where Feng Shui adjustments can provide breakthroughs. Seeing your space through Feng Shui eyes can reveal energetic blocks. It can get even more granular in that there are areas of your home that represent specific parts of your body. For example a woman’s reproductive organs are represented in her relationship Gua and activating this Gua with specific cures can be life changing. In Chinese medicine Feng Shui actually serves as a diagnostic tool. Some of the same meridians Acupuncturist’s treat in the body actually have a corresponding area of the home that reflects what is happening with you physically. For example REN Mai or the conception vessel that we refer to as the uterus is represented in the love Gua of your home and bedroom. This is considered Yin or feminine energy . When your spending Thousands of dollars on Fertility treatments that are taxing your body It could actually be a welcome relief for you to know that there are holistic treatments options that are really quite pleasant and cost a fraction of the price of invasive Western treatments. A Holistic approach can actually improve all areas of your life without incurring the health risks and side effects associated with IVF. Now that you’re looking at it from a whole new perspective! You’re probably thinking ok tell me more! When you Consider the financial and physical investment required to pursue fertility treatments versus Feng Shui & Accupuncture. They become viable options worth considering. They also have the side effect of improving other aspects of your life. Feng Shui for example creates a setting that’s designed and aligned with your highest good. IVF is a five-figure investment: roughly $20,000–$30,000 for one round when paying out of pocket, including medications. Simpler fertility treatments can cost less. California clinics publish ranges between $17,000–$30,000 for a complete IVF cycle, depending on what’s included. Feng Shui is a fraction of this and doesn’t come with the negative side effects. Neither can guarantee a baby but in a cost benefit analyses all of the approaches are worth considering. I’m interested in moving the conversation towards holistic options that don’t pose health risks. It’s also worth exploring from a cost benefit analysis perspective where your finances are concerned as well. The older you are the more profoundly stark the Statistics become where it comes to IVF success rates. The numbers show a sharp decrease in fertility success rates for IVF with hormonal interventions for women over 40. With a statistic of 4.1 percent birth success rate for women over 42 versus around 40% success rate for women between 35-37. To summarize regardless of age, Feng Shui & Accupuncture provides a financially accessible zero health risk option with a high overall wellness upside. I recommend addressing both physical and environmental factors with a combination of Accupuncture & Feng Shui. I have recently started having conversations with Acupuncturist’s to partner and refer clients so we work in tandem for optimal results. Accupuncture and Feng Shui are both forms of Chinese medicine and complementary modalities. I just did Feng Shui for an Acupuncturist I recently met and she gave me Accupuncture. We are talking about having her come on the pod so stay tuned for that. The premise of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is that health depends on balance within the body and harmony with your environment. It views the body as an interconnected system, where physical symptoms, emotions, lifestyle, and the seasons influence one another. I can’t wait to have a conversation on camera exploring this further!     Feng Shui Your Way Through The Venus & Mercury Retrogrades

    Hello & Welcome to the Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui and other Woo. My name is Laura Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady!Today I want to talk about how to Feng Shui Your Way Through Venus & Mercury Retrogrades! There are actually very productive ways to navigate this time period! Instead of getting all doom and gloom about it, I’m going to share some Feng Shui hacks to actually make this fun and fruitful.First let me explain the Astrology of it all. We have an extended period of reflection and revision in the areas of Love & Communication happening until mid December. Yes you heard me correctly. That’s pretty much the rest of the year. And where Venus is concerned it’s been going on since August 31st when Venus entered its pre-shadow retrograde phase.I have personally been leaning into it and am here to help you lean into it too!We officially enter the Venus & Mercury Retrograde on October 3d when Mercury enters its Shadow Retrograde period at the same time that Venus officially goes retrograde.Venus is the planet of Love, beauty, luxury, and aesthetics. So relationships, beauty, and decor undergo an auditing period.Adjacent to Venus being in a state of flux, Mercury the planet of communication and tech also retrogrades. Mercury’s pre-shadow begins on October 4th and officially retrogrades October 24 to November 13 but not out of the post shadow until November 30th. Venus has a longer post retrograde that continues through December 15thWe will all have reasons to reflect on how we are expressing ourselves and communication will require careful consideration all the while our romantic lives and aesthetics will be in flux.Let’s make the most of this time shall we? When Venus is in this state of flux it’s not the time to make permanent decisions about love, or aesthetics. For example not a great time to get married or buy expensive clothing or furniture or get a new hairstyle or cosmetic procedure.Where it comes to fashion, beauty, and decor. This is when we can revisit our fashion past, shop our closets, rotate our art and throw pillows. For example I just rotated my art right before filming replacing my Sun art with My Love is all in honor of Venus and to be on theme with this episode. I also rotated a few of my throw pillows. This zhuzhing was with art and pillows I already own. The idea is to try and work with what you already have or have tried instead of heavily investing in anything brand new.That said, one of the most productive activities you could focus on is auditing your closet. This allows you to focus on the pieces that look best on you and to curate wardrobe capsules for specific occasions and themes.If you do this systematically, you will find and curate your most flattering and elevated wardrobe looks for your best life. Seriously let’s Marie Kondo it! You will also be channeling the energies of Venus in the most positive and aligned way. It’s a big project but a fun one! Listen you have several months to get in there and categorize what needs to be styled, taken to the seamstress, donated, sold, gifted and capsuled.I have been going through my own clothes and trying everything single article on to see what is still working for me. I pulled 4 large bags of clothes from my wardrobe so far! I sold and traded at least one bag full and gifted 2. I have one more to go!My work around for shopping during Venus Retrograde is Selling for Trade! Returns & Exchanges also come in handy through December 15th.The clothes I sold and traded at Crossroad’s since August 31st to now ended up garnering me some amazing new additions to my closet without making any big financial investments. Among the standouts that I acquired through trade were a sexy red dress and power skirt with a cute top that I love. Red is a very new revelation to my wardrobe! It is this year’s power color because it’s the year of The Fire Horse and fire element and colors are a great way to channel this energy. I also found the prettiest most cheerful Tiffany blue floral dress. Venus Retrograde can sometimes lead to finding stand out pieces in unusual or low stakes ways. Sometimes you can experiment during this time and later change your mind which is why low stakes is the name of the game. You can also use Poshmark to sell and purchase clothes which is another great work around for Venus Retrograde! The idea is to avoid spending a lot of money on anything. My favorite part of my closet audit so far was the gifting part! I invited a couple girlfriends over, served wine, and let them basically shop my closet edits that hadn’t sold or been traded.One of my friends said she only had like five outfits to her name so it was heartwarming to see her pull an entirely new wardrobe from my left overs. Both of my friends rocked those clothes and it made a real impact for them. They both ended up with clothes they could wear for work and business as well as pieces they could apply to their social and romantic lives. It was really fun and rewarding to watch them play dress up. You can re-home your former clothes by selling, donating or gifting them. Gifting allows you to know who will be living with and loving your former clothes!I highly recommend this type of exchange. It’s good Karma for your wardrobe in a pay it forward kind of way! The universe will reward you. It has certainly rewarded me with optimal replacements and energetic space.You truly can use this time to refine your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Even if you end up technically with less clothes, you will have a way better wardrobe!Without all the clutter of clothes that don’t suit you, your best looks can now get the attention they deserve! I found this dress in the back of my closet sadly being ignored and now she’s front and center! This is also a Feng Shui Relationship Hack. If you are single like myself and your closet is overflowing with clothes like mine was, then there’s no room energetically for a partner. If you edit about 25% of your closet to make some space this will help magnetize and invite a new lover into your life. Sometimes less is more.Let me tell you it’s a worthwhile task and something you can sink your teeth into these next couple months while Venus retrogrades for an extended period of time.While dating anyone new is a little tricky right now with Venus in Scorpio and Retrograde. It’s advisable to focus instead on feathering your nest to make space for love for when the time is right. For those already in a relationship, it’s a good time to cultivate it and work on any relationship kinks so to speak.Venus in Scorpio is kinda like channeling Glenn Close’s character in Fatal Attraction. No bueno… If you do meet someone new during this time, just pace yourself and the relationship. Allow it to unfold with greater clarity in December.My advice to my single ladies; invest in some adult toys to keep your sanity in tact until December 15th when Venus finally gets her mojo back. A healing form of tantra in the meantime would be to harness the sexual energy you experience when you play with your “toys” as you envision your future partner. Venus retrograde asks us to take stock of our relationship patterns and release the ones that no longer serve us through some form of therapy, or perhaps journaling. Your bedroom is where the Magic Happens in your relationships so another productive use of this time is to Feng Shui it to uncover any energetic blocks to love. My Bedroom Feng Shui course is perfect for that and I will include a link in the show notes for you.Listen, I’m actually considering doing some past life regression with a therapist during this time to explore my relationship patterns across previous lives… I’ll circle back here on that of course.Ok, let’s talk wardrobe capsules! You can curate a dating wardrobe and build a capsule for love and all your other activities. I actually just built and photographed capsules for dating, networking, holiday parties, and an exotic vacation etc. I’m not kidding! This takes time and energy but it’s a lot of fun and a very productive use of this time. Having curated picture albums of your wardrobe allows you to pick out an outfit from your wardrobe capsules based on what you have going on that day! No more staring at your closet in a daze and wondering what to wear. This creates a system of dressing with intention that feels like online shopping from your closet that you can do from your phone. You can pick out your outfit while you’re doing your hair and make up from your vanity or while still in bed planning your day ahead. I now have all my clothes styled, pictured and stored in capsule albums on my phone. Whenever I purchase something new it gets styled, photographed and added to a capsule. I’m considering offering this as a service where I assist women and I either come over or FaceTime with you to systematically audit your closet and apply the aforementioned systems so you can shop your own closet as I just described. I will also teach you the energetics of your clothes and how they can serve you as a manifesting tool. I’d love any feedback you guys have on this. I’m currently in the beta testing phase…The Creation of certain capsules for future activities like a Dating or Vacation capsule actually serves as a manifesting ritual. You can create a wardrobe for the life you are calling in. When it arrives you are now dressed for the part that you have been preparing for and cultivating through your intentions, actions and projections! That’s really all that manifesting is. Aligning yourself with your desires.Clothes are how you advertise yourself and the role you want to play. You can genuinely use them as a manifesting tool! In pragmatic terms think of your wardrobe as your biggest sales and marketing tool. You are the billboard!     The Top 5 Most Vital Times for Feng Shui!

If you have been listening or watching me for a while you know how passionate I am about Feng Shui as a Wellness Practice. I often refer to Epigenetic’s and the impact our environment has on our gene expression and health outcomes! So practicing Feng Shui is not just an aesthetic expression. However the aesthetic benefits are a lovely aspect to its broader benefits. Feng Shui is actually one of the 5 Branches of Chinese Medicine and serves as both a diagnostic tool and an ingredient in your healing journey. Your space is a mirror of your current circumstances and with Feng Shui you can have some agency over those circumstances. When you dive even deeper into Feng Shui and its more mystical practices it also serves as a manifesting tool and was originally only accessible to the ruling class for 1000’s of years. I believe that’s why people born into or surrounded by generational wealth don’t experience the same money blocks that most people struggle with. They grow up surrounded by opulence and good Feng Shui. In today’s episode I want to talk about when the most vital times to invest in Feng Shui are. My top Five examples include when you are Decorating, Moving, Renting, Buying or Investing in property. Whether you rent, own or have stake in an investment property, decorating and furnishing it, is an opportunity to Feng Shui and space plan with intention to maximize on your properties full energetic potential. That’s the perfect time to reach out for a VIP Feng Shui Experience. Your experience of home will transform from a nice roof over your head to a living breathing 3 D Vision Board. What you learn in a VIP Feng Shui container will not only serve you in your current home or business but everywhere you go because once you start to see the world through the lens of Feng Shui you will have a whole new world view.     Fanning The Flames of Fire 🔥 & Stepping into your power…

    Hello & Welcome To The Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui & other Woo! My name is Laura Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady… Today’s Episode is called “Fanning The Flames of Fire 🔥 & Stepping into your power!” I missed the last 2 weeks of the Pod because I was super busy behind the scenes preparing to launch a new course where I delve into how to Feng Shui your vessel and by that I mean your body and your clothes. Today I am giving you a preview of how to work with the Feng Shui Elements not just in your home but on your person! Fire is one of the 5 elements in Feng Shui and one of the most obvious ways of wearing and representing it is by wearing the color red or red spectrum colors like orange and fuchsia. You can Feng Shui not only your home but your wardrobe to harness elemental energy and archetypes! Red energetically attracts attention and connection. You can benefit from wearing it in circumstances where you want to be noticed and you welcome connection and attention. Red imbues you with Main Character Energy and I refer to it’s archetypal energy the Social Butterfly/Siren. It’s such an activating color that it can also activate aggression and overstimulation. e.g. You might want to wear it on a hot date but not to a contentious legal proceeding. Red is a power color in Feng Shui and is also considered lucky and auspicious in China where brides traditionally wear it on their wedding days. This is the year of the Fire Horse so red is definitely a power color this year! I have historically not worn red and barely ever owned any garments in that color. I didn’t feel comfortable wearing red and struggled to find a flattering shade that worked with my complexion. I used to primarily wear black to the exclusion of every other color. Especially when I was younger. My mom would always mock my sense of style and question why I always dressed as if I was headed to a funeral or in mourning. She had a way with words…. She wasn’t wrong because I was a little sad growing up and during my coming of age years. I wasn’t comfortable in my skin and I didn’t really want to be seen. My attitude towards Fire element and the color and energy of Red has recently changed. I just updated my wardrobe with a few key pieces including 2 flirty red dresses and a red power skirt. I was updating my dating capsule with a couple dresses and I wanted a power skirt for my business networking capsule. You don’t have to wear a color from head to toe for it to have an impact but if you are going to do it finding the correct shade for your skin tone is important. As a winter, I look best in reds with a blue, berry, or slightly pink undertone rather than orange, rust, or brown. I think I nailed it! Have you found your true red?     Feng Shui For The Divine Feminine & Masculine

    Hello & Welcome to The Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui and other woo. My name is Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady. Today’s episode is called Feng Shui For The Divine Feminine & Masculine, a balance of Yin & Yang… Yin & Yang refer to a series of opposites in Feng Shui starting with Female & Masculine Energy, Dark and Light, Big and Small etc. We seek for a balance between these energies in our homes and our lives. A yin environment is a small dark cozy space filled with lots of little details and objects and more muted colors. A yang environment is a large well lit space with minimal furnishings and bright colors. The idea is to find balance and harmony between the 2 extremes. A bedroom for example is meant to be more intimate and Yin, while a living room would be more Yang and open. I recently started developing a new approach to my Messaging around Feng Shui because I noticed nobody else in my lane was speaking directly to men. I love men! If you met my Dad you would understand why! I hear a lot of divisive talk around the dynamics between men and women. I have certainly seen and experienced the dark underbelly of toxic masculinity but it has never occurred to me to put all men in that ugly little box. I’m here for the Yin & the Yang! For close to 2 decades my typical clients have been women because they are drawn to topics like Feng Shui, Astrology and Numerology etc. Men much less so. However when men have hired me they are ideal clients because they are action oriented and will move s**t around without hesitation. The key with Feng Shui as with anything is that you actually have to do it in order for it to work. You can have the best consultant in the world but if you don’t take action on the recommendations it’s completely useless. I love working with men for this reason because if they are invested enough to hire me they will follow my guidance with enthusiasm and an eye on the prize. By that I mean their goals. My new approach in the way I communicate about Feng Shui was partially inspired by conversations I have been having with men as well as women. I noticed when I speak to men about Feng Shui they perk up around the history of it and how it was originally Exclusively for Kings & Queens and the Elite class. That’s why Feng Shui is associated with generational wealth. In certain High a net worth circles it’s understood that Feng Shui is a given where it comes to real estate, commercial and investment properties. It wasn’t until I entered those rooms and started having those conversations that I realized there’s a segment of upper class society that doesn’t need to be convinced about Feng Shui. I swear that would have been useful information at the beginning of my career. The connection with money and power is very compelling to men. I am just now broaching the subject of what it could do for their love lives! That’s the conversation I typically have with women around Feng Shui however for women my languaging is more romantic and babies are part of the conversation. While with men I am becoming more Frank about love and sex. Men & Women both ultimately want the same thing but we communicate about it differently. I’m finding my voice with this new approach and bridging the gap between what men and women want to invite into their lives and with each other. The one thing I hadn’t really talked about directly until now was sex. That seemed a bit bold until recently. The reality is that the recipe for Love & Babies includes Sex. It’s life force energy and It’s the ultimate manifesting tool. In order to specialize in Feng Shui for the Divine Feminine & Masculine sex needs to be part of the conversation. Especially now that I’m talking to the Fellas. I’m so psyched to help dudes aka The Divine Masculine as well the Ladies! I have felt called with literal downloads and messaging specifically for men! Just check out my Instagram feed and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Listen, I’m still here for my gals in fact my work with men helps them create sacred space for us and the divine feminine. After working with me your man will never leave the toilet seat up again because he will understand that it causes his money to go down the drain. The thing that I have come to learn about human nature is that sometimes people can’t take certain actions because they instinctively aren’t ready for the changes those actions will bring. We all have our blind spots or blocks. When someone is actually ready, they will suddenly feel a sense of urgency and make the changes. What I love about Feng Shui is how whatever is not working in your life is reflected in your home. If your money is going down the drain it’s hard to miss. If you’re having issues in your relationships and they feel imbalanced visit both your bedroom and your love Gua. Your love Gua may be outside the bedroom but regardless the bedroom and how it is arranged will always be a reflection of your relationships. I want to mention here that relationships and the love Gua don’t just represent romantic relationships. They also represent relationships in general. So the same issues of imbalance that can exist in your romantic relationships can also exist in all manner of relationships including your friendships, business colleagues and acquaintances. Asymmetrical relationships where there’s an imbalance in the give and take can be reflected by only having one night stand or having one much larger night stand or lamp on one side versus the other. Having your bed shoved up against the wall is another example and reflects a sense of entrapment by either yourself or the people in relationship with you. You want symmetry and a natural flow of energy in and around your bed and in your relationships. You don’t even need to desire a romantic relationship to desire harmonious connections. Sometimes we are in a personal chapter in our lives where we are focused on our mission and love feels like a distraction. This is all well and good but not a reason to dismiss the principles of symmetry. We need other people in our lives besides lovers who are supportive and for whom we are able to show up for in kind. If someone says they want a relationship or love or sex or companionship etc but resists centering their bed or getting 2 night stands. That is a personal block they have because on some level they know they aren’t ready or truly open to inviting someone in. It can be a control issue or fear of losing their independence. That same person might immediately make changes to their money Gua because that is their priority at that point in time. My job is to read the room and reflect it back to you. I provide solutions for the blocks and it’s up to you to decide what you are ready to take action on. I especially love working with homes and helping people create sacred space for love and abundance. My whole career has leaned towards a more intimate and Yin approach. As I evolve and find my voice a new more Yang perspective is emerging and I feel called to speak to the interest of both men and women. I’m all about the Yin & The Yang. Everybody wins!     Feng Shui Can Save Your Life!!!

    Hello & Welcome to The Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui and other Woo. My name is Laura Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady! What if I told you Feng Shui could save your life? Sounds a little dramatic I know but I’m not just being super extra. I have science to back this up. While it’s easy to dismiss a practice like Feng Shui as just a Design Aesthetic or some obscure woo practice, it is in fact one of the 5 branches of Chinese medicine along with Accupuncture, Qi Gong, Herbalism, Massage. It’s an earth science that is over 5000 Years old. Feng Shui is a diagnostic tool used to uncover what is not working in your life as it is reflected in your environment. It’s uncanny how your much your home reveals about you. When I see a bed with just one night stand that’s shoved against a wall. That reads as single or someone in a really toxic relationship. This set up can lead to one partner feeling trapped in the relationship. It doesn’t make space for a union in which 2 people see eye to eye. Regardless of gender, when I see a home with a lot of art of beautiful alluring woman depicted alone, that also screams single. She’s alone get it? If it’s a woman’s home she is emphasizing her singleness. Same for a man! Even though he is surrounded by all these women, they are unattainable. If she was paired up with someone or there was a piece of art nearby depicting either a man or another woman depending on your sexual orientation that would be another story. Then we have Western science and Epigenetic’s, which is the science of how environmental factors activate our genes. Feng Shui From the scientific perspective of Epigenetic’s, speaks to how our environment dictates our gene expression and ultimately our health outcomes. So changes in how genes are expressed are determined by environmental factors. My job is to help people design the most energetically supportive and aspirational environment that supports folks physically, psychologically and energetically. When you optimize your physical space, your home becomes more than just a soft place to land. It transcends mundane necessities and becomes a living breathing 3d vision board for your hopes and dreams. I look at homes as our most powerful manifesting tools. How we live, where we live and who we live with takes on so much more import than most people realize. That saying “better to be alone than in bad company”. Comes to mind. Other peoples energy can legitimately deplete us if there is friction. Set & Setting can go a long way to soften the blow but when part of your environment is someone with whom you have a lot of friction, you might want to start by removing either yourself or them. The more agency you have over your environment the more you are able to manifest. At the recording of this pod we are between eclipses an excellent time for clearing your environment and making space for your blessings. I can’t think of a better time to declutter and deep clean your home. Sage and Palo Santo and some high Frequency music while you’re recalibrating your space. A salt bath for your own vessel when your done would be very beneficial. From the lens of Epigenetic’s, the more stressors and toxic influences in your environment, the more you are likely to fall ill and well die. So yes Feng Shui can save your life! What or who are you living with that presents as toxic? It could be as subtle as an ugly painting your mom gave you that makes you cringe every time you look at it but you feel obligated to keep it. Here’s your permission to replace it with a piece of art that lights you up every time you see it and reinforces an aspiration you have. Or it could be much more consequential, like the person you share a home with and once loved but with whom that bond has become untenable. The eclipse gives us a window that serves as an exit strategy. Something or someone leaves or is eclipsed out so the universe can bring you alignment and harmony with something or someone else. Yay, I’m so pleased that I managed to include Feng Shui, Astrology and Epigenetic’s in this episode! They are all connected. We are all connected.     Feng Shui Your August Astrology!!!

    Hello & Welcome to The Feng Shui Money Couch where I talk about Feng Shui and other Woo. My name is Laura Carrillo aka The Feng Shui Lady! Today I’m talking about the intense and pivotal August Astrology. Think The Matrix meets Disclosure vibes! It’s a wild sky. I believe we are all feeling it. I actually had an astrology expert lined up for today and when they had to cancel at the last minute, I took it as a sign to speak on Astrology with my Feng Shui Lens. Because here’s the thing My work with Feng Shui is closely aligned with Astrology. Specific rituals, activations and energy work are dictated by the lunar cycles so I am very attuned with what’s happening Astrologically. This is such a big month energetically that I couldn’t escape talking about the Astrology of it all. We are currently in what is called The Lions Gate Portal and it peaks on Saturday August 8th and completes on the 12th. This episode drops on Friday August 7 just in time for Lions Gate. The Lion’s Gate Portal is a modern spiritual concept that happens every year on August 8 (8/8). Many people who follow astrology, numerology, and energy work believe it’s a particularly powerful time for setting intentions, reflecting, and focusing on personal transformation. So Saturday 8/8/26 which is actually a triple 8 because 26 reduces to the number 8. Is The Day After this Podcast Drops! I felt called to speak on this and share some insights and Feng Shui tools for navigating this powerful time. Lions Gate is based on a blend of ideas: * Leo season: The Sun is in Leo, a sign associated with confidence, creativity, courage, and the heart. * The star Sirius: Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, has long held symbolic importance, especially in ancient Egypt, where its annual reappearance coincided with the flooding of the Nile and was seen as a sign of renewal. * The number 8: In numerology, 8 symbolizes abundance, personal power, achievement, and the infinity symbol (∞). Because the portal peaks on 8/8, many view it as amplifying those themes. Here’s are some ways you can work with these energies and apply Feng Shui to cultivate your hopes and dreams. I would start by downloading my Free Feng Shui Basics course that comes with a free Bagua Map Download and an explanation on how to apply it. You can use this energy map to find the areas and themes of your home that activate your goals whether it’s Love, Money, to Health, or Career etc. Pick one or a few areas to focus on and find them in your home with the Bagua Map and: * Declutter any area connected to a goal you’re cultivating. * Refresh your wealth or career area if you’re focused on abundance. * Open windows, bring in fresh flowers, or light a candle to symbolize inviting new energy. * Write one clear intention and place it somewhere you’ll see it daily. These are simple activities that would be aligned with Saturdays 8/8 Portal. Even on Sunday the energy should still be in your favor. Leo Season Is Roaring with even more Astrological highlights. We have 2 Eclipses this month! A New Moon Solar Eclipse on 8/12/26 in Leo & a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on 8/28/26 The caveat here is that Eclipse’s are not the time to try to Manifest anything specific or force your will. The paradox of Lions Gate as an initiation portal this month versus eclipse season which is more of a hand of god and divine intervention moment rather than manifesting one…. Once we move past Lions Gate and into the eclipses you’ll want to see what the universe delivers and respond to things rather than initiating them. The signs will present themselves often as non negotiable changes that happen to us and ultimately for us even if they weren’t by choice. I can share personal examples to give life and context to how Lions Gate and the eclipses can work in your own life. During last year’s Lions gate I called in love with specific Feng Shui adjustments to my Love Gua. I actually met and started dating a soulmate after 2 years of celibacy on Lions Gate! It was intense and I was happy with my new lover for the first time in ages perhaps ever. We were pretty hot and heavy. Then a few weeks later the Eclipses happened my brother got very sick. My mother had passed away in February of last year and my father had been in steep decline ever since. Fortunately my brother lived with my father and was taking care of him but now he was facing a quadruple heart bypass and Kidney cancer simultaneously. I s**t you not! Even though I had just started a relationship and redecorated and Feng Shui’d my home, I was put in a position where I had to move to be close to my family. I feared the worst. That my brother would pass and I would need to step in and take care of my father. They needed me and it was time to move. I did not want to move. But I had to trust and believe that there was a blessing on the other side of that transition. My relationship got me through the transition and was a blessing but ultimately ended due to the distance. While the transition and move had its challenges and weren’t something I would have “chosen,” it all worked in my favor. The life I am building now is so much more fulfilling and expansive than my life in LA. All the things I had wanted in a home for years suddenly materialized like a pool and jaccuzi. An in unit Washer and Dryer. A large walk in closet. A balcony with a beautiful view. Living 15 minutes from the beach. A dedicated space for my home office. Really good and aligned Feng Shui that includes having my bedroom in the Love Gua of my home. All of it was such a huge upgrade! Don’t even get me started on how much more relaxing life is in Orange County! There’s no traffic here and parking everywhere! If you live in LA you understand the sheer torture of driving and parking there. There’s no potholes here or homeless encampments! I had no idea how much of a toll it actually took on me to constantly be exposed to that whenever I left my house in LA. My nervous system is different now. I’m not as much of a recluse. I actually Network on a regular basis here and gleefully leave my house! I Iook back at my life in LA and wince because the last few years the city took a dark turn. The pandemic hit us hard and so many amazing businesses vanished and were replaced with homeless encampments. It became impossible to ignore. I have a hard time going back there now because the energy of the city feels heavy to me. I now marvel at my good fortune. Yet I still remember how much initial resistance I had around leaving LA. All this to say don’t judge the changes that may come your way until the dust has settled! I have also made new friends and a growing community here and I feel so blessed. It was divinely guided by the post Lions Gate Eclipse Season of 2025. A year filled with the highest highs and lowest lows. It was dramatic and life changing and uncomfortable but for my highest good. I hope my story gives you some context around what is possible under the influence of the Lions Gate Portal and Eclipses. Don’t be scared. Get excited and lean in! I used Feng Shui all along the way to navigate these energies and maximize on the energetic potential of my former home and my new and much improved one. I will be testing out a brand new Manifesting Ritual on Lions Gate that my mentor recently handed down to me. After that I plan to sit back and see what the Universe has in mind for me! In case you were wondering, my brother survived both the quadruple heart bypass and the removal of his Cancerous Kidney. He is now thriving and taking care of my Dad. I’m close to him and my father and appreciate the importance of family and coming home. Home is my medicine and it can be yours too!
