He Ran Circles Around Brazil. Now EVERYONE Wants to Sign Him.

Patrick and Ted are back for their first World Cup episode, working through the opening round of fixtures and the early transfer window stories. On the games: Brazil vs Morocco raised serious questions about Ancelotti's side, and Patrick had a few rants pending. The USA looked more convincing than anyone expected against Paraguay. Turkey managed 30 shots and 1.40 xG against Australia, which will surprise nobody who has watched Turkey at a major tournament before. Ivory Coast edged Ecuador in a game that was more fun than it had any right to be. On transfers: Ayyoub Bouaddi ran circles around Brazil at 18 years old and PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool are all circling. Ted and Patrick dig into what his numbers actually look like and whether the £60-70M fee makes sense for any of them. Christos Tzolis is reportedly heading to Arsenal and could be a straight swap for Martinelli. And Marc Cucurella is off to Real Madrid on a six year deal, which raises the question of what exactly Real Madrid are doing this summer. Bayern Munich are keen to prise Rio Ngumoha away from Anfield. Liverpool's answer was simple: no. At 17, his dribble and carry numbers are already off the charts. Plus: Florentino's €150M mystery bid, what Real Madrid are actually building this summer, Spurs quietly putting together a transfer window that actually makes sense, and the World Cup predictor is live. Why Germany Could STRUGGLE at the 2026 World Cup | Groups E and F Preview

Patrick and Neel break down Groups E and F ahead of the World Cup. They dig into Germany's tactical setup under Nagelsmann, covering the attack rotation with Undav, Havertz, Wirtz and Musiala, the defensive concerns at full-back, and whether the midfield can handle more athletic teams in transition. Ecuador's ironclad defensive record gets examined alongside their near-total lack of attacking threat, and why the Ecuador vs Ivory Coast opener could be the defining game of the group. They cover Curaçao's squad, what Ivory Coast's exciting forward line needs to do to progress, and rank the group. In Group F they look at the Netherlands' injury-hit squad missing Xavi Simons and the creativity question that brings, Japan's huge loss of Mitoma and the pressure that puts on Kubo, Sweden's dependence on Isak and Gyokeres, and Tunisia's likely strategy of grinding out three draws. Plus an introduction to the Transfer Flow World Cup bracket builder with live odds and a leaderboard, and Patrick's charity walk in the Indian Himalayas. The Real Reason Iraola Will Succeed At Liverpool + What It Actually Takes to Rebuild a Football Club

On this episode, Ted opens up about the reality of rebuilding two women's teams at once, what he has learned, and why he is genuinely excited about the window they are putting together this summer. Then Patrick and Ted break down the Champions League final, making the case that Arsenal were far better than the result suggests and that PSG won it with whisker thin margins. Is Morgan Rogers the right fit for Arsenal? They dig into the data and explain why the price tag does not make sense. Ted then gives his take on why Iraola is a perfect fit for Liverpool, why Alonso was never going to work there, and why Senesi may be following him through the door at Anfield. Enjoy!
