    The sports world went full chaos mode this week — the Bears finally had a clean injury report for the first time since 2022, only to immediately jinx it with Caleb Williams going down. Meanwhile Deshaun Watson has 8 touchdowns in 1,041 days while Josh Allen casually dropped 9 in five. Emi Martínez is getting cooked at Chelsea (10 goals in 4 games), Harry Kane hit 100 Bundesliga goals in 98 matches, and Max Verstappen literally passed 100 go‑karters in 35 minutes because of course he did. NASCAR gave us a Bristol beatdown with Joey Logano taking the win, IndyCar shuffled seats with Dennis Hauger jumping to AJ Foyt, and Europe’s soccer leagues delivered upsets, ties, and Arsenal pain. Bayern dropped seven, Milan rolled, Madrid melted with 10 men, and Brighton bullied Arsenal with one shot on target. IndyCar wasn’t any calmer—Marcus Armstrong led late before his engine exploded, handing the win to Christian Lundgaard. The Packers locked up Christian Watson for $110.5M, the Steelers extended Darnell Washington, and Russell Wilson officially retired after 14 seasons—rumored to be heading to CBS next. Soccer delivered peak comedy: Cristiano Ronaldo had fewer touches than the opposing goalkeeper, his sub scored immediately, and the USMNT still hasn’t beaten Europe since 2021, conceding 15 goals in their last five vs UEFA sides. In Europe, Harry Kane passed Robert Lewandowski’s scoring record with 58 goals, Xabi Alonso agreed to join Chelsea, and both Gucci and BYD are reportedly exploring investment in the Alpine F1 team. In racing, the NASCAR All‑Star Race at Dover saw Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick win the opening segments before Denny Hamlin took the overall victory, with a long list of DNFs shaping the day.
