E55: Major Life Transitions and still Building your Dreams

I used to think life transitions were temporary… but lately I’ve realized we are always becoming a new version of ourselves. In this deeply personal episode, I’m talking about the emotional reality of navigating major life changes as a first-gen Latina: marriage, entrepreneurship, identity shifts, burnout, ambition, healing, and learning how to slow down without feeling like you’re falling behind. Because nobody talks enough about the “messy middle.” The part where you’re still building the dream while grieving old versions of yourself. The part where life is changing fast, but you still have responsibilities, goals, family pressure, and expectations pulling at you from every direction. In this episode, I share: 💫 The mindset shifts helping me navigate this season 💫 Why your dreams should reflect your current capacity 💫 How comparison steals your peace 💫 The importance of community and asking for support 💫 Why your story and transitions ARE your brand 💫 How to continue showing up online authentically, even when life feels messy This conversation is honest, vulnerable, empowering, and especially for the ambitious women trying to hold everything together while building a meaningful life. You do not need to have it all figured out to begin. ❤️ ✨ Join the You + Story Challenge https://soygina.com/u+story/ Alignment Hour: https://signup.empowermente.co/AlingmentHour?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email+marketing Get access to my FREE Resources here: https://soygina.com/resources/ Follow me on the socials: www.Instagram.com/empowermentecollective www.Instagram.com/soyginamoreno www.tiktok.com/soyginamoreno Want to partner with me? https://soygina.com/partnerships/ Send me an email: hello@soygina.com

E54: Why You Don’t Need More Achievements to Be Visible (A Mindset Shift for high achieving trailblazers)

What if the reason you're not sharing your story is actually the reason someone else is still stuck? In this episode, I’m taking you inside a talk I recently gave at a leadership conference in Chicago where I spoke to executives about something that affects all of us, no matter our age or title: the fear of being seen. As first-gen Latinas especially, many of us were taught: Stay humble. Don’t brag. Wait your turn. But what if your visibility isn’t about you… but about who you could help? In this episode, I share: - The mindset shift that helped me go from hiding my voice to building a personal brand - How sharing one career story led to helping another Latina negotiate a $10K raise - Why self-promotion is actually service - My simple 3-step framework to start owning your story today - How visibility creates confidence, belonging, and influence If you've been feeling the pull to share more of yourself, speak up more, or step into leadership, this episode is your reminder that your story already matters. No tienes que esperar permiso. Your voice might be the permission someone else needs. 💌 DM me your biggest takeaway @empowermentecollective SIGN UP for April's Alignment Hour: You're Allowed to Get Paid (Even If You Just Want to Help People) https://signup.empowermente.co/AlingmentHour?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email+marketing Available workshops: Public Speaking: https://signup.empowermente.co/bookedandpaid Heal the fear of being seen: https://guide.soygina.com/beingseen Work with me: Private coaching: https://soygina.com/1on1/ Next level latina: https://soygina.com/circle/ Get access to my FREE Resources here: https://soygina.com/resources/ Follow me on the socials: https://www.Instagram.com/empowermentecollective https://www.Instagram.com/soyginamoreno https://www.tiktok.com/@soyginamoreno Want to partner with me? https://soygina.com/partnerships/ Send me an email: hello@soygina.com

E53: How to Clearly Explain What You Do (So People Actually Want to Pay You)

If someone asked you what your business actually does… could you explain it in 30 seconds without rambling or downplaying yourself? In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the pitch deck I created after graduating from a Latina business accelerator, and why every entrepreneur (yes, even if you're just starting) needs clarity on their mission, model, and money. Because here's the truth: many first-gen Latinas are building powerful ideas… but struggle to articulate their value. And clarity is what gets you funding, clients, partnerships, and opportunities. I walk you through the exact sections every strong pitch should include and how this exercise helps you step into your CEO era with confidence. If you want to get paid to be yourself, niña… this episode is for you. In this episode we talk about: - What a pitch deck actually is (and why it’s not just for investors) - The 8 sections every business presentation should include - How to clearly explain your problem, solution, and market opportunity - Why clarity is a confidence tool for Latina entrepreneurs - How to position yourself as a leader, not just a service provider This episode will help you stop overthinking how to explain what you do and start owning your story, your expertise, and your poder. If this resonated, share it with a comadre who is building something powerful. 💌 DM me your biggest takeaway @empowermentecollective SIGN UP for Alignment Hour: https://signup.empowermente.co/AlingmentHour?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email+marketing Available workshops: Public Speaking: https://signup.empowermente.co/bookedandpaid Heal the fear of being seen: https://guide.soygina.com/beingseen Work with me: Private coaching: https://soygina.com/1on1/ Next level latina: https://soygina.com/circle/ Get access to my FREE Resources here: https://soygina.com/resources/ Follow me on the socials: https://www.Instagram.com/empowermentecollective https://www.Instagram.com/soyginamoreno https://www.tiktok.com/@soyginamoreno Want to partner with me? https://soygina.com/partnerships/ Send me an email: hello@soygina.com

E52: From Engineer to Community Builder: How This First-Gen Latina Created a Movement for Women

What happens after you achieve the dream your family sacrificed everything for? For so many first-gen Latinas, the goal was clear: graduate college, get the stable job, and make your family proud. But what happens when you get there… and still feel like there’s something more calling you? In this episode, I sit down with Marisa Lopez, engineer and founder of Made of Más, an intergenerational community creating spaces for women to reconnect with joy, movement, creativity, and themselves. Marisa shares her powerful journey of rediscovering who she was outside of academic success and career titles. From traveling the world and taking dance classes to eventually creating community events that bring women together through movement and creativity, her story is a reminder that your dreams don’t have to fit into one box. We talk about: - The identity crisis many first-gen Latinas face after achieving the “stable job” - Why success alone doesn’t always equal fulfillment- Healing your inner niña interior through creativity and joy - Creating spaces where mujeres — including our moms and tías — feel welcome - The courage it takes to pursue a dream while still working your 9-5 - Why the dream in your heart is there for a reason If you’ve ever felt like there’s something bigger meant for you… this conversation will hit home. Your dreams don’t have to replace your career. They can expand who you are. ✨Share this episode with a comadre who’s ready to follow the pull on her heart. E51: 9 Life Lessons Before 30: Navigating Healing, transitions, and True Love

In this special birthday episode, I reflect on the transformative journey of my 20s as I steps into a new decade. Turning 30 isn't just a milestone; it’s a collection of breakthroughs, heartbreaks, and the radical act of choosing yourself. I break down nine pivotal lessons learned from age 21 to 29, offering a raw look at what it takes to find your identity outside of societal and family expectations. In this episode, we dive into: • Breaking the Mold: How growing up in a Hispanic household and navigating narcissistic dynamics shaped and eventually freed my identity. • The Power of the Leap: Why leaving your "bubble" (even when you're "shitting bricks") is the foundation for the woman you are meant to become. • Health as a Privilege: A candid discussion on being diagnosed with PCOS at 24 and learning to listen to the body’s signals. • Scarcity vs. Abundance: Recognizing when you are forcing a relationship out of fear and how to open your heart to receive the love you actually deserve. • Divine Timing: How job losses, grief (honoring the memory of Canelito), and serendipitous reconnections prove that life is always working for you, not at you. • The Myth of Being "Behind": A reminder that age is just a number and your breakthrough could be right around the corner. E50: Why Do You Go Back to Survival Mode When You’re Finally Thriving?

What if the reason you feel sad when life is going well… isn’t because something is wrong? In this episode, I share one of the most life-changing concepts I’ve ever learned: The Upper Happiness Limit by Gay Hendricks. As I navigate wedding planning, growth, stress, and big life transitions, I caught myself almost slipping back into a 2020 version of me. The version that felt alone, misunderstood, unseen. And I realized… it wasn’t reality. It was a pattern. As first-gen Latinas, many of us were raised in survival mode. And even when we’re no longer struggling financially or physically, our nervous system can still crave chaos, loneliness, or feeling unseen because it’s familiar. In this episode, we talk about: What the Upper Happiness Limit really is Why your brain tries to drag you back into old emotional patterns How survival mode shows up even when you’re “successful” The subconscious attachment to feeling misunderstood How to lovingly interrupt self-sabotage Why awareness is your first step toward emotional abundance Mi amor… you deserve abundance externally AND internally. You do not have to keep paying a suffering tax for success.  Ya no es necesario. If this resonates, this is your gentle call forward into creation mode. ✨ Share this episode with your comadre 💌 DM me your biggest takeaway @empowermentecollective Available workshops: Public Speaking: https://signup.empowermente.co/bookedandpaid Heal the fear of being seen: https://guide.soygina.com/beingseen Work with me: Private coaching: https://soygina.com/1on1/ Next level latina: https://soygina.com/circle/ Get access to my FREE Resources here: https://soygina.com/resources/ Follow me on the socials: https://www.Instagram.com/empowermentecollective https://www.Instagram.com/soyginamoreno https://www.tiktok.com/@soyginamoreno Want to partner with me? https://soygina.com/partnerships/ Send me an email: hello@soygina.com

E49: Life is so short: Haz Las Cosas Que Quieres Hacer. Honoring Gabriela Gonzalez

What if today was your last ordinary day? I didn’t plan this episode. I recorded it on a walk, with helicopters, dogs, and background noise. Because perfection didn’t matter anymore. After learning that a 20-year-old first-gen Latina I once mentored passed away in a tragic accident, I couldn’t keep operating like life is guaranteed. In this deeply vulnerable episode, I share: The shock of unexpected loss How being first-gen often makes us delay joy for “later” Why aging is a privilege not everyone receives The spiritual perspective on death and life missions How to wake up to the magic of your everyday life As first-gen Latinas, we carry pressure. Responsibility. Big dreams. But we are also mortal. And we deserve to live now, not just survive for the future. This is your reminder, diosa. You are a statistical miracle.Your voice matters. Your time is sacred. Be kind. Be bold. Be present. And stop waiting for permission to live.
