Professor Balcetis earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Cornell University and has since significantly impacted the field with over seventy scientific publications. Her work has been featured in major media outlets, including Forbes, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, NPR, and more. She has received numerous awards for her contributions, including recognition from the Federation of Associations in Behavior & Brain Sciences. She has also delivered inspiring talks at institutions like Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Balcetis is the author of the critically acclaimed book "Clearer, Closer, Better: How Successful People See the World," which explores how small changes in perception can lead to big successes in life. She also gave a remarkable TED Talk titled "Why Some People Find Exercise Harder Than Others," which offers fascinating insights into motivation and perseverance. Today, I have the unique opportunity to explore her journey, insights, and advice for students and aspiring psychologists.
