    So far in this administration, Congressional oversight has been largely absent. The role of advise and consent has turned into just consent and move on. Also, government funding runs out on March 14 and signs are pointing toward a possible shutdown.

    Hypocrisy is all over our political world right now. I dive into some of the biggest hypocrisies out there currently. As a warning to my friends on the right, and I say this up front in the podcast, most of the examples I use are from today's GOP, but I very much recognize there is plenty of hypocrisy on the left too. I welcome conversation about this, and believe both sides should be called out when they try to have something both ways.

    2024 Election : Why did this loss sting so bad?

    I've been really open on this podcast about my feelings toward Donald Trump, and why I have never supported him. Therefore, most people know I voted for Kamala Harris. As somebody who voted for Harris and badly wanted to keep Trump out of the White House, this loss stings. In this episode I have attempted to vocalize some of that frustration, despair, and anger, and explain why this election loss hurts so badly. For most people, this is about much more than politics as usual. Thanks in advance for listening.
