    Hook: The '90s Really Traumatized Us

    Watching Hook as a kid felt like an adventure. Watching it as an adult feels like an emotional attack. Jess and Philip revisit the 1991 millennial classic to discuss working-parent guilt, Wendy's wildly overlooked red flags, why everyone is way too calm about two kidnapped children, and what belongs in an adult Boo Box. One of us still thinks Hook is a masterpiece. The other would rather stay out of Neverland entirely. Bangarang.

    The Princess Bride: True Love Is More Toxic Than We Remembered

    The Princess Bride might have taught our generation about love, but watching it now as adults, we have some questions. Jess and Philip revisit the millennial classic to discuss Buttercup being the worst, Wesley's wildly overlooked (almost) backhand, the Dread Pirate Roberts' murderous internship model, and whether The Princess Bride has secretly been a Christmas move this whole time. Also, turns out true love is a lot more toxic than we remembered.
