Is Scripture Memory Outdated? Interview with Brittany Schlichter from Let the Word Be Heard

On today's episode, I had the honor of interviewing Brittany Schlichter from Let the Word Be Heard and chatting about Scripture memory. She answered questions like: Is Scripture memory outdated now that we carry the Bible on our phones? How do I get started memorizing? What do I do if I don't feel motivated to memorize? She also shares her own journey with Scripture memory and how the Word of God has impacted her life. You won't want to miss this encouraging episode!    About Brittany: Brittany Schlichter lives in Deep East Texas, where she works remotely as a content creator and writer for the National Bible Bee. As a teenager, Brittany competed in the National Bible Bee and won second place twice, an experience that helped her learn how to study Scripture and led her to memorize twenty-six books of the Bible to date. Today, Brittany is passionate about encouraging others in Bible memory and study. She enjoys reciting Scripture and speaking at conferences and other events through her ministry, Let The Word Be Heard, as well as leading women’s Bible study retreats called The Ruth Retreat. Brittany also loves to travel with her family, spend time outdoors, and work on her new real estate investing business.     Links to connect with Brittany:  Let The Word Be Heard: https://letthewordbeheard.com Ruth Retreat: https://www.ruthretreat.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brittanyschlichter?igsh=MXNhbmxoZ3BuZDV5eQ==     Get your copy of A Woman of Excellence Bible Study: https://www.kelseyleewrites.com/a-woman-of-excellence/  Get your copy of Grandpa’s Comrade today! https://www.kelseyleewrites.com/grandpas-comrade   Subscribe to Kelsey's newsletter here.  Check out the Truth Squad Trilogy: kelseyleewrites.com/truth-squad-trilogy  www.kelseyleewrites.com Music: Spark of Inspiration by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com
