The Anchor Down Low Podcast: S10E1

The Anchor Down Low is back for its tenth season, and hosts Mr. Jason Davidson and Mr. Eric Bennett kick things off with an episode that captures all the energy of a new school year at Russell County Middle School. In “Dancing in September,” they reflect on the excitement of the first weeks of school—welcoming students back, setting goals for the months ahead, and highlighting the spirit that makes RCMS such a special place. Between updates on upcoming events, shoutouts for student achievements, and lighthearted banter, the hosts strike their signature balance of informative and fun, making the podcast a touchstone for Lakers students, staff, and families. At the heart of the episode is a celebration of community. Mr. D and EB talk through ways RCMS is helping students feel connected, from extracurricular activities and service projects to classroom routines that set the tone for success. With the start of fall sports, new clubs, and fresh opportunities for students to shine, the hosts remind listeners that September is more than just the turning of a calendar page—it’s a chance to build momentum and dance into the school year with purpose. Season 10 starts strong, with all the warmth, humor, and school pride listeners have come to expect from The Anchor Down Low. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
