The end of retirement | How to retire without withdrawing | Pastor Brandon Cobb

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does God say about retirement, purpose, and the next season of your life? In this message from Numbers 8:23–26, Pastor Brandon Cobb teaches that in the Kingdom of God, retirement does not mean retreat — it means reassignment. Whether you are 25, 55, 75, or 85, your life still carries purpose, wisdom, responsibility, and spiritual weight. Jesus is still working, still interceding, still building His Church — and if we follow Him, we are never called to withdraw from the mission. We are called to stay engaged until the end. This sermon is a powerful call for every generation at Eden Church to see their season clearly: supporting, building, overseeing, and guarding the work of God. Pastor Brandon challenges younger leaders to receive wisdom without insecurity and calls seasoned saints to use their experience not to control or coast, but to guard the gospel, strengthen the Church, and help build a future where Jersey is reached with the love of Jesus. If you have ever wondered whether your best days are behind you, this message will remind you: in Christ, your role may change, but your calling is not over. Faith At Work Interview | Barbara Nweji, Hospitality Team

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does it look like to trust Jesus in your work, your waiting, your serving, and your community when life is not moving on your timeline? In this Eden Church interview, Pastor Brandon Cobb sits down with Barbara Nweji, a Hospitality Team member at Eden Church and a staff member at Hackensack University Medical Center, to talk about faith at work, serving Jesus in everyday life, and trusting God through a long job search. Barbara’s story is full of success, difficult seasons, deep faith, and the kind of steady joy that reminds us that Jesus is worthy in every chapter. This conversation is for anyone trying to follow Jesus while working in healthcare, navigating career uncertainty, serving in church, or believing God in a waiting season. Barbara shares how she sees Jesus glorified through her job, why Christian community and serving have become permanent fixtures in her life, and what she would say to someone trying to trust God while searching for work. Her story is honest, hope-filled, and deeply encouraging — a reminder that God is not only present when the door opens, He is also forming us while we wait. Suits: When your first job isn't your dream job | The office series | Emmanuel Harley

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What do you do when your first job does not match your dream job? In this message from our Faith at Work series, Emmanuel Harley preaches from Genesis 39 and the story of Joseph to show us how God works in the gap between what we dreamed and where we actually are. Joseph had a vision for leadership, honor, and influence, but his first job in Egypt looked nothing like the dream he had back in Canaan. Yet even there, Scripture says the Lord was with him, making him successful in the responsibilities right in front of him. This sermon is for anyone who feels stuck, checked out, overlooked, or disappointed in their current work. Your job is not just a job — it is a training ground in the hands of God. The role may be temporary, but the formation can be permanent. Through Joseph’s life, we see that God can use humble work, hard seasons, difficult bosses, daily tasks, and unseen faithfulness to prepare us for the future He is calling us into. Because of Jesus, first-job frustration can become first-job formation. God is not wasting where you are; He is shaping who you are.
