She been a Radio Show Host of Breathing Through Paper; A Videographer, A Producer, An Actress, A Model and one of the Directors/Actors/Screenwriters of the Webisode - Off the Pen.  As a Spoken Word Artist, She released three Poetry Albums; A Lyfe in the Lyrical, When Butterflies Harden and When the Rain is Watching. a member of the Composition, which is a Poetry band. Her goal for the upcoming year is to release Her book of Poems, Her novel and Her fourth Poetry Album. She also joined the world of fashion with a brand new must have addition to any wardrobe!! More information will follow as She get closer to the release of LM Designs.     ...this episode We talk about the act, course and state in which carry the burden of racism...Our Guest for this episode is Grand Sheikesses Sheila Seabreeze-Bey, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, Daughter, proclaimed her Nationality in 1975 in the Moorish Science Temple Divine and National Movement Temple 13 under the Guidance of Grand Sheik Richardson Dingle-El Prophet Noble Drew Ali 3rd. She have had many jobs in the Movement  writing children songs developing Alphabets and She have written one children book soon to be publish. The Movement has  laid Her foundation to becoming an Educator, and a Special Education Teacher. She taught various disciplines and supported students. She retired two years ago from Baltimore City Public School Systems. She been teachings Moorish History & Law for over 10 years in Her current Temple as well as host of the Moorish Light Blog Talk Radio; blogtalkradio.com/moorishlight a rebirth of “The  Light” She hosted in 1980’s on WEAA at Morgan State University.  She also Organized Actual Freedom Day annually to bring attention to the Proclamations of President Lincoln which became Law December 15, 1862. The same laws that the Confederacy surrendered too but were never implemented due to the Reconstruction Era.  Therefore, She Teach and Teach and Teach.     ART OF THE MUSE: Maria Thompson Corley; Medusa Was Black and Breeze

    Maria Thompson Corley (BM, University of Alberta; MM, DMA, The Juilliard School) has appeared as a solo and collaborative pianist in Canada, the United States, Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda and Europe. Her engagements as a soloist with orchestra include the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gunther Schuller. She and cellist Sara Male formed Duo Chiaroscuro in 2011; among their passions is performing concerts for people whose special needs prevent strict observance of concert protocols. Dr. Corley has recorded for Naxos, Albany, Parma, MSR Classics, and independent labels. Excerpts from her discs have been featured in movies and on television, radio and digital platforms, nationally and internationally. Medusa Was Black is the Founder of Spellbound Poetry Slam based in Richmond, Va. Her work has been Emmy nominated and is a Graduate Fellow of the Watering Hole Writing Retreat. When she is not on poet time, she is a single mother of a 5 year old and cosplayer. Breeze The Poet is a spoken word artist/ author/slam coach/battle rapper from Richmond VA. He has performed all over the country including venues such as The Broward Center for Performing Arts and the historic Apollo Theater. He is also a TV1 Lexus presents Verses and Flow alum.
