What Did You Do Yesterday? with Max Rushden & David O'Doherty

I’m late to the game here but obsessed and grateful to have a back catalogue. This pod makes me laugh out loud and also, makes me feel infinitely more interesting.

It’s a fantastic banter vehicle with fully one out of two excellent hosts and many excellent guests. Max Rushden is exactly the wrong energy, pivots each story to himself, and drinks throughout (“Mm!” he muffles, around another pint. And “this is my social time” he protests, of a product he earns on, just before the ads run.) I can’t stop listening — the day-in-the-life banter at its purest really is great — but holy moly. David has the patience of a saint.

Five out of five stars - no notes, but one suggestion. Can we get Guy Montgomery to create a spinoff “Yesterday, what did you do?” that works backward from the end of the day to start?
