Here you will find audio commentary of all classic F1 races!(Usually from the brilliant Murray Walker Where possible)Unfortunately, over the years,  FOM & the FIA have a bad habit of deleting peoples often brilliant F1 related content because of the visuals.So, here, hopefully being able to just listen to commentary and the beauty that is the various F1 engines over the years will be a joy!

    2002 Australian GP *Round 1* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    New Teams. New Drivers. New Seats.. Let's find out all the goodies for 2002! First of all, No more Murray Walker of course who retired and James Allen was the lead commentator with M. Brundle on co com! Teams:- Prost liquidated and were no longer around.. Phoenix Finance bought part of Prost and attempted to field Mazzacane and MArques from Malaysia, but were denied because they did not acquire ALL Of Prost. Benetton were renamed as Renault.  Toyota were a brand new Team in F1. Driver Changes:- No more Mika Hakkinen! He was on "Sabbatical" so was replaced by Sauber Driver Kimi Raikkonen. Raikkonens seat was taken over by Euro F3000 Champ Felipe Massa. Fisichella wanted out of Benetton so done a straight swap with Jarno Trulli in the Jordan. Jordan Also elected for another new driver in Takuma Sato who replaced the Legendary Jean Alesi. Jos Verstappen lost his drive at Arrows because they opted to go for H-H Frentzen from the now defunct Prost team. Fernando Alonso, after impressing in 2001, joined Renaults Test Team for 2002 and his seat was taken by Mark Webber. Toyotas first ever driver line up consisted of Mika Salo & Allan Mcnish. Luciano Burti joined Luca Badoer as test drivers for Ferrari. No room either for Tomas Enge who returned to International F3000 for 2002. Antonio Pizzonia would be alongside Marc Gene, testing the Williams cars & Andre Lotterer would be testing duty for Jaguar. Ferrari - Michael Schumacher & Rubens Barrichello Mclaren - David Coulthard & Kimi Raikkonen Williams - Ralf Schumacher & Juan Pablo Montoya Sauber - Nick Heidfeld & Felipe Massa Jordan - Giancarlo Fisichella & Takuma Sato BAR - Jacques Villeneuve & Olivier Panis Renault - Jarno Trulli & Jenson Button Jaguar - Eddie Irvine & Pedro De La Rosa Arrows - Heinz-Harald Frentzen & Enrique Bernoldi Minardi - Alex Yoong & Mark Webber Toyota - Mika Salo & Allan Mcnish All Engines were a 3 litre, V10 Config.     2001 Japanese GP *Round 17* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    So it was to be the final race of the 2001 Season. A dominant one for Michael Schumacher & Ferrari, Schumacher's victory was his ninth of the season, tying his own record from 1995 and 2000 and Nigel Mansell from 1992. As a consequence of the race, Schumacher finished the year with a season-record 123 championship points scored in the World Drivers' Championship, breaking Alain Prost's all-time record for most career points scored. Many things would be the lasts for drivers and teams. Last races EVER for Jean Alesi, Tomas Enge & Mika Hakkinen. While it would also be the last race for Bennetton who would be rebranded as Renault for 2002 and after this race, the Prost team would be shut down forever, thus turning into quite the sad end from the Ligier days.     Lot of emotion in this one! This would not only prove to be the Race winners LAST EVER F1 victory, but it ironically came 2 weeks after he said he would be taking a sabbatical from the sport in 2002 with a replacement on the horizon. It would also turn out to be Murray Walkers FINAL EVER race he would commentate on and James Allen would be taking the reigns from here on out.     2001 Italian GP *Round 15* (ITV Commentary - Murray & Martin)

    Just a few drivers changes for this one.. Both drivers represented their countries in F1 for the first time. Thomas Enge =, the Czech driver, reaplced the injured and bruised Luciano Burti after his horror smash in Belgium. Alex Yoong also became the first ever Malaysian Driver to compete in F1 replacing Tarso Marques, who stayed on as the teams reserve and test driver. Montoya had 2 previous pole positions but had failed to convert them into wins.. Could it be different this time? He would have stiff competition esepcially in the form of Ferraris 2nd driver who was in great form also.     This was a bit of a bizzare race! Drivers Stalling, new drivers in new teams, a weird situation where a car was up on its jacks at the start lights and a HUUUUUGE Shunt for Luciano Burti would mean it would be his last ever F1 start. It would also be Tarso Marques' last F1 start for Minardi as he would be replaced by Alex Yoong after this race. It would also be the last podium for the 3rd place man for his current team and his last until 2003. The last EVER points finish for the man in 6th which would bring a sad end to what SHOULD have been more in his career. Ferrari would be the 1st Constructor to reach 650 race starts and with it, they would break Alain Prosts all time win record.     2001 Hungarian GP *Round 13* (ITV Commentary - Murray & Martin)

    Few Driver Swaps happening here.. Jean Alesi went from Prost to Jordan, and he was replaced by Heinz Harald Frentzen who was sacked by Jordan a few races prior. So this was it. David Coulthard, try as he might was 37 points behind the Immovable German, M. Schumacher. He NEEDED a miracle to keep the championship fight alive. Could the Mclarens deal some damage, or would the Ferrari combination be too strong.. Well, all types of records would be broken and matched this day.. Campiones! (1st Constructor to win 11 Championships) It also might not have meant much, but this would be the final ever fastest lap for Mika Hakkinen. It would also be the last ever start for Luciano Burti due to a huge crash in practise at the next GP.     2001 German GP *Round 12* - ITV Commentary (James & Martin)

    Mike Schumi could take one giant leap forward to his 4th world championship with a win here. But as the story usually goes at a home GP, it is never that simple. Montoya took his first ever pole. One HUGE Crash on the start line would have implications for the rest of the race. Few things to note, this was the last time the race was held on this classic track. The race for 2002 would be on a shorter version of the circuit. This would also be BARs 2nd and last podium until 2004, and the last for a Canadian Driver until 2017.     Mclaren had been mighty strong the last 2 years with David coulthard winning them both. This year he had the chance to be the first British driver to do it since The great Jim Clark. As always, the Ferrari and Schumacher was strong but so was the Mclaren package. DC NEEDED a win to keep his slim titel hopes alive.. But the eventual winner would be an almighty popular one given his season was pretty dreadful up to this point.
