KILLIONAIRE || Hodgepodge Originals

Not only do I think this is one of the best podcasts ever made, but it might be one of my favorite stories of all time. Part found family road trip, part surrealist horror, part dark fantasy, and all a meditation on what it means to be human and the importance of art in the face of overwhelming adversity. Excellently written and voice acted (consistent for this studio, find us alive is also remarkably well done), I was completely engrossed the entire time. On a personal note, I am extremely picky with any media that has fae. I have very strong opinions on their aesthetics and general vibe. This might be my favorite depiction of the folk in any medium ever. My only complaint with this podcast is that there isn’t more. The ending felt satisfying though so no real complaints, I just absolutely adore the world that the team working on this created. Excellent work, and thank you so much to everyone involved in the project.

This is what good fiction podcasting is all about. Excellent voice acting (seriously, every single one is good) with a unique and creative story that pulls you in right away and makes you attached to the characters. I was emotionally invested from the very first episode, and I even shed some tears once I finished the last episode. It will be hard to find a show that tops this… like I even like the singing, which normally turns me off. Every episode is solid and unique and I loved hearing about all the “rules” and the different seasons. Loved this!

Creative, fantasy, sci-fi, spooky, nostalgic, and cozy! It’s like the left right game meets desert skies! High praise!

This is a wonderfully well written show inside of a meticulously well crafted World Build. The characters are touching. You WILL be drawn in. I’m halfway through this season, & I will miss this when it ends. I hope there is more to come. I’m 5 starring this despite the fact that fantasy is not my usual thing.
