Gone Traveling: Adidas NextGen EuroLeague Finals review with Overtime's Rafa Hernandez

The Adidas NextGen EuroLeague Finals have finished and FC Barcelona grabbed the much-anticipated title to end a decade-long drought since their last crown since 2016. Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in the Championship Game in front of an exciting crowd at the Telekom Center in Athens - also known as the OAKA. David Hein reviews the Finals with Rafa Hernandez of Overtime. They discuss the exciting final game as well as look at both of the finalists Barcelona and Real. Hein and Hernandez also talk about the other teams in the Finals as well as the NextGen’s “regular season”; how the competition took steps forward this season; and what top stories you can already look forward to in 2026-27. Episode 28: TTC Gone Traveling - 2025-26 BKT EuroCup Finals Review - final episode

We have a champion! Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse have won the BKT EuroCup and will play next season in the EuroLeague after sweeping Besiktas GAIN Istanbul in the best of three finals. Adam Mokoka took home Most Valuable Player honors for two games of great performances including the championship-winning layup with 1.1 seconds left in Game 2. Marco Munno and David Hein review Bourg’s unlikely win in Game 1 in Istanbul and then finishing off the Turkish team at home. Bourg become the third French club to win the EuroCup - the other two coming in 2021 with AS Monaco hoisting the crown and Paris Basketball knocking off Bourg in the 2024 Finals.
