How Do I Live Out My Faith at Work Without Being Weird

In this episode, Preston Poore and Ashley Smalley explore the tension between boldness and wisdom when it comes to living out your faith in the workplace. They unpack what it means to move beyond simply carrying a Christian label and allow faith to shape how you lead, treat people, make decisions, and respond under pressure. From Preston's 25-year journey of compartmentalizing his faith and career to Ashley's practical approach to showing Christ through relationships, this conversation challenges leaders to consider whether their faith is something they talk about or something people can actually see. — Episode Highlights [01:55] Faith, Purpose, and Integration: Why faith can't stay separate from leadership. TRAILER- How Do I Live Out My Faith at Work Without Being Weird

Send us Fan Mail Episode 17 is here.  And this one really got me thinking about the difference between having faith and actually letting your faith shape the way you live and lead.  In this episode, I sit down with Ashley Smalley, founder and CEO of Smalley Consulting, to talk about what it really looks like to bring your faith into the workplace without making it forced, performative, or complicated.  One thing that really stood out to me was Ashley's story about a truck driver she worked with whose wife had passed away. She didn't preach to him. She didn't force a conversation about faith. She simply cared enough to remember the important dates, check in on him, and be present.  And eventually, he asked her why she did it. Sometimes the way we live opens the door for the words to come later.  This conversation is about faith, leadership, workplace culture, wisdom, relationships, and learning how to live the same life on Monday that we say we believe in on Sunday. Because maybe it's not about being louder about our faith.  Maybe it's about letting it show up in how we treat people. Go listen and tell me what part of this conversation stayed with you.
