A Mind-Blowing Chapter From Beyond the Fading Darkness Audiobook

This is one of the most amazing audiobook performances you will ever hear. Seriously, it’s stunning. I wasn’t going to post another sneak peek of Beyond the Fading Darkness this week, but after listening to the latest batch of audio today, I couldn’t wait. When I wrote this chapter, I was concerned that it would be next to impossible for a narrator to read aloud. The dialogue is a mixture of English, German, and French, and the scene is very, very violent. But Scott Fleming absolutely nails all three languages as he brings this disturbing scene from Beyond the Fading Darkness to life. Get Beyond the Fading Darkness on Audible The story of the Red Hawk, a Shawnee law-giver, is one the most compelling, tragic, and mesmerizing of the entire book. He is a good man trying to do the right thing in a terrible world. In this chapter, he stumbles upon a destroyed settlement in the Tygart Valley of Western Virginia in 1775. The story is based on actual events from that period and captures the complete and utter brutality of life on the frontier in Colonial America. If you want to read how things turn out for Red Hawk, Chief Logan, and Nonhelema, Beyond the Fading Darkness is available today in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle. The audiobook that this chapter is taken from will be out this summer. I also highly suggest you either listen to or read the first book in the series, Through the Fading Darkness. It will help round out the characters and transport you back to the American Frontier just before the American Revolution begins. This is a public episode.
